Oh, you runners must be mad. I will indulge in a slow stroll to the Village Shop, about 5 minutes away, and a slow stroll back. I might even put on my trainers to do it, but will forego the lycra and water bottle.
I think we will settle for another STS this week. I have actually lost a few ounces, but as I only deal in whole pounds we will ignore those for now.
Cranky, hope you are feeling a tad better.
Izzie, I know what you mean about the mini-eggs. I'm knitting baby chick covers for creme eggs and I have a box of 48 eggs leering at me in the kitchen. I don't even like them that much, but can't wait until the last one is tucked into its chick and out of sight.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Brunch - 2 sausages, 1 egg (using things up!)
Tea - will be Spanish chicken and maybe some leek7 -
roblou, when I say that I am forgoing the Lyra I am, of course, only thinking of sparing nervous villagers and passing traffic. We wouldn't want to be responsible for nervous breakdowns and traffic collisions, would we?
If I'm being honest, which is admirable but boring, I'm not sure that they make Lycra quite stretchy enough for my comfort anyway.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Well done all loses and STSs 👏👏
Cranky a little drastic but good WI and congratulations 🥳 on passing your stone 🍾
Monna my dad you have said 'don't scare the horses' 🙂 when I used to walk to work I would pass the local small bicycle shop and Thursday morning the cycle club would meet and I would have to walk pass a lot of middle age men in Lycra 🚴♂️ 😳 I would get to work and ask for eye bleach 😬
Izadora back in the day when jaw wiring was talked about as a way of dieting someone once told me 'you can blender mar bars'
Roblou I've also booked my vaccines today 16th and 1st June, as I've booked it myself online without my 'invite' it's at the hospital in the next town rather than nearer but I want it over and done with and the car will benefit from the drive

@ditty1234...
thanks, to keep me going and shift the pounds I've entered a few virtual running challenges and have a place in the virtual london marathon.
I still find stepping out the front door the hardest step.
@monnagran
for health and safety reasons. I fake tan before running in shorts. For fear the glare off my pasty white skin causes car crashes and blindness.# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Hi Brambling, thanks for the update. I think I've been hiding somewhere with my fingers in my ears and going lalalala. But I've got to face the music - since my last update I have put on 2lbs. So I am 1lb more than when I started on 1st January
I suppose I can at least say its only 1lb more, but I am a bit disappointed in myself. One good thing is that I have been able to get a routine going with my exercising, so if I can just get the calories under control, the weight should start to come down again. I always find it easier to lose weight in spring with the lighter nights and warmer weather. First lockdown was really good, its this third lockdown where things really started to go the wrong way. Anyway, I am keeping on, and although I don't pop in very often, just knowing this thread is here is such a support as I plan for the day when I can report my losses
