Hi
Weigh day for me and I’m down -1.5lbs since the last time I reported please Brambling.Hope your recoveries are speedy Cranky and Dumpling after your hospital stays.Another wow Frith on the weight loss.Well done everyone - losers, sts-ers and gainers on the effort.I’ve missed reporting some weigh ins, I’ve been so busy and beyond stressed. I’m still weighing myself several times a week and losing and gaining the same couple of lbs! I’m toying with the idea of following the fast800 plan I did so well on last year, it’s just so tiresome counting everything I eat. I don’t think my head is in the right space at the moment to be as strict as I was then though and I have just spent a small fortune on no sugar and low carb snacks and chocolate.

Good morning all,
Looking good Frith. Well done!
I'm home from hospital and mooching in to report a 3.5 lbs loss this morning. My method for achieving this may have been a bit dodgy as I was nil by mouth until 3pm two days running and the other days I mostly ate sugar free jelly and muller lights but a loss is a loss and I'll take it. There has to be some compensation for the trauma?
Well done everyone who is happy wth their results this week and to those who aren't....be kind to yourself. If it was easy we'd all look like Twiggy wouldn't we? I've been trying to lose weight since I was 16 and I'm 53 now. Most of my actual success this year if I'm honest is down to the gallstone problem. I just need to try and hold it steady now and if I can, manage to lose a bit more.
Thank you all for the messages whilst I've been poorly and for thinking of me. It really meant a lot at a time when I was worried and upset.
Take care all of you8 -
Afternoon All,
Frith - that is an amazing difference!! You must be so proud of yourself.
tryingtoavoiddebt - I hope the soup making went well and that you're managing to stick to your 3 meals/no snacks plan.
Cranky - Ouch!! Just, ouch!! I'm glad you're home and it's not a way I'd ever want to go about losing weight but well done for the loss.
Brambling Well done for braving the scales!! Every day I think that I'll be brave and hop on and every day I skulk away and decide to leave it as a job for another day. I think wiring your jaw might be a bit extreme (I'm also pretty sure I'd just end up drinking melted chocolate through a straw if I tried that...) but best of luck with getting back into the right head space.
Gingerlily Well done for the loss. Are things likely to get less busy and stressy any time soon? Although I know that procrastination doesn't really do anyone any good it might be better not to add the extra effort of calorie counting now if you know that you can give it a better shot when things are calmer.
There's not really a lot to report here. Work's been busy enough that I've inadvertently not eaten all that much during the day, I just wish the same could be said for the evenings... I'll be glad when Easter's over and done with, I seem to be incapable of resisting mini eggs!! I keep telling myself that I won't buy any more and then the next time I go to the supermarket I seem to find that they've snuck their way in to my shopping again. It's C25K night tonight and then I'm meeting friends for walks over the weekend (1 friend on Saturday and a different friend on Sunday) so it may not be the most thrilling of weekends but at least I'll get some exercise.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx7 -

Morning all, been AWOL but have been lurking and reading. Well done everyone losers or not. We came out of isolation on Tuesday and have managed to do two runs this week. I feel so much better for it. It was hard going today but managed to run 27 mins. Not going to weigh in for a few weeks I just need to get back to feeling ok. Good news though my jab is booked for the 14th..yay. 😀‘It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine’ - Winnie the Pooh10
