I’ve fallen out with my scales 🙄 I haven’t weighed in in a couple of weeks now for two reasons, one my willpower has well and truly disappeared and two my scales had something stuck underneath and haven’t been weighing me properly 🙁. Still keeping up with the chat and silently cheering you all on! Will keep checking in. Good luck everyone xx7

Hi Cranky40 big hug and hope you're ok. And tryingtoavoiddebt I hope you get your scales sorted. My old scales were awful, but I was happy that they weren't precise. Then eventually I had to get digital scales because we fly to se family regularly. Then eventually I started stepping on and stepping up and it was not nice. But it literally took me years to deal with the consequence. I have been doing the slow coach 2-500 cal deficit most days. Its not quick, but it will keep me in good habit for when I get where I want to be.I've only got an other 6lb or so to go. So just give it time, and get your subconscious on board. You will get there.
lantanna that is a lot to deal with, not the time to worry about the scales.
Actually I am very excited to report a 2 lb loss, I've been stuck for a while but they finally gave in.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%

Good Afternoon All,
Sorry for the lack of posting, between work being busy and my head being rather grumbly it was far better that I kept myself to myself...
Frith - Well done on another loss and I'm glad the vaccine after-effects didn't last for too long
Cranky - Take care of yourself and I hope you're feeling better soon
tryingtoavoiddebt - Even though mine are working exactly as they should I'm not on talking terms with the scales at the moment either.
dumpling Well done on an amazing loss. I'm glad the healthy eating's going well and that DH and is helping.
ditty Well done on the loss and being so close to your target.
lantanna Well done on last week's loss and I don't blame you for taking a break this week. I hope that work stuff isn't too hideous.
Sirens Sorry to hear about DD's cat and I hope she still manages to enjoy her birthday
Dominiquey That doesn't sound like a fun way to lose weight! Well done though and I hope you're feeling better this week.
Brambling Thank you for sticking with us even though you're struggling at the moment. If there's any way we can help then shout a holler. I'm joining you in not getting on the scales, I'm not sure where my determination from the beginning of Jan went but it's definitely run far, far away!!
Couldsavemore Well done on the loss and the jogging.
zippy Well done for the loss
TC77 Well done for the loss. It doesn't matter how slowly you go, you're heading in the right direction and it sounds like you've got your head into a really good place, which is the biggest part of the battle.
LittleVoice Well done for still getting on the scales and I know it's all relative but I would be ecstatic with a BMI that was that low!!
Short_bird. Well done for the STS
Blue Doggy Well done for the loss and looking forward to seeing you more after Lent
monnagran Well done on the loss. Maybe the latest lb absconded with the rest of the plot?
SezzaF Well done for the STS. I'm with you on the permanently hungry front but wish I could say that I also had no interest in food!!
Sorry if, as tends to happen when I don't post for ages, I've mixed people up or missed posts. I'm really not sure why I can't get a grip at the moment but even knowing how much more I'm going to hate myself come summer, when I can't fit into any of my lovely clothes and am permanently hot and bothered, doesn't seem to be enough of an incentive to put the biscuits down. About the only positive is that I've still been doing C25K. I'm fairly rubbish at it and there have been a couple of runs which took a few attempts to complete (and I'm not even at the evil "run for 20 minutes" one yet!!) but I figure the fact that I'm still plodding round 3 times a week is better than nothing.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx11 -

Thanks for the mentions. Just checking in to report one large gallstone has been removed from my liver. Is it wrong to wonder what it weighed 😂 Thanks again for your kindness 😊8

Ouch Cranky, no wonder you were feeling so ill. It looks like your gall bladder was waiting for the HT to be older and more independent to cause you grief. Hopefully your hospital stay wouldn't be too long
Well done on the loss Ditty 👏👏
Izadora I briefly braved the scales this morning for the first time in weeks, I'm not sure if I fell off the wagon or ate it :S it wasn't pretty and nearly enough to send me to the biscuit tin 🤐 I'm having problems getting my brain back into a 'weight lost place' I can feel the lbs sliding back on, time to wire up my jaw

I’ve got another 1lb to go for a 2 stones loss but was at a loose end... still quite broad in the beam!
