The Mustgo soup was pretty good actually, it could go either way when you're just chucking things in you need to use up. I added some frozen cauliflower that was hanging around in the freezer too. Now, the thing with me and soup is that I always have to have buttered bread with it so yesterday I got some rolls I made the other week out of the freezer and popped them in the oven and had them sans butter. I got through it unscathed and it was really nice, so that was a few calories saved. Today I've had an apple and a Fibre One bar, dinner is a roast but it'll just be veg and potatoes unless I can lay my hands on a vegetarian protein source without spending any money. I'll see what I can find. Have a good day everyone.6

Dumpling I had to lookup bakestones 🙂 I'm assuming they're what I'll call welsh cakes? Now I'm thinking I have all the ingredients 🤔 the only trouble with living alone is I would have to eat them allenjoy the visit with the grandchildren
Not 100% sure about food today, breakfast was banana, raspberries and FF Greek yogurt, lunch should be HM tomato and veg soup (aka Tesco's Nanas Magic Soup) i was given a soup maker at Christmas and dinner something with gammon I'm just not sure what yetLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
Brambling, I had to look up welsh cakes
yes they are the same thing. My granny taught me to make them when I was a little girl and now I have spent an hour or so teaching my grand daughter
. They are very tasty unfortunately
I'm going to have a go at Nana's Magic Soup next week, it looks lovely doesn't it.

Dumpling there is something special cooking family recipes and then passing them on to the next generation
. I like the soup but I do use reduced fat coconut milk to try and keep the calories down, what also kept the calories down this batch was losing half of it to my sister who disappeared home with a container full of it.
Black_Saturn I'm a fan of Jerusalem artichokes but have never souped them, maybe one to try next time I buy some. I'll bookmark the idea of courgette curry for next summer when I seem to grow the usual glut as it will be healthier than the courgette and carrot cake I made and have stored in the freezer 🙂Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5 -

Good morning everyone
My menu today is likely to be:
b - fruit loaf toasted with flora
l - broccoli and stilton soup
d - lasagne and salad
s - grapes and a small slice of cake
I have another day with my grand daughter today so we are going to bake a pineapple and cherry sponge as we didn't get round to it yesterday. I was supposed to have porridge for breakfast but the siren call of the warby's fruit loaf was too much. Having written my meal plan I am more likely to stick to it I find.

Morning all, well I have weighed in as I have two weeks left on my SW membership. Quite pleased I’ve lost 2lbs so not sure if you put it down or not because it’s the first week. I haven’t run much over the last week as it has been very slippery under foot here, especially in the morning which is when I like to run. I don’t like running having eaten.....just a thing. 😀I have walked every other day tho.
food today crossing fingers
b- Skyr, blueberries and a SW bar soon to be no more
d- chicken sausages, mash and lots of veg
t- possibly Marmite spaghetti with cheese

Morning all!I weighed in last Monday hoping to get a head start on the New Years resolutions. Happy to say I’m 2lb down though I could do better! No alcohol this week and hopefully no picking at the kids Xmas chocolate 🙈Breakfast was pancakes with raspberries. I’ve leeks and chicken to use up so I’ll make a soup of some sort for lunch, which will do for work tomorrow too and leftover beef ragu for tea. I just need to stay away from the sweetie tin!8
