Good morning, just dropping in to record my first weigh in which was Saturday. I lost 3lb which I'm very happy with but I'm going to up my game this week as I tend to get a bit complacent after a loss. Hope everyone is doing well during these difficult times.

Morning All
Confession time
- I had quite a blip yesterday, the good news is when I went shopping I managed to get my share of the F&V that was missing from the shelves last week. Not so good news I stupidly picked up a bottle of wine, once opened the menu plan went out the window and I ploughed my way through some less than healthy choices. Never mind, its done, hand slapped and I'm back on plan today.
B - Porridge & tinned peaches
L - Feta & watermelon salad, crispbread.
D - Fish in breadcrumbs, roast tomatoes & asparagus
At least the snow & ice have gone so I'll double my exercise efforts this week.
Take care and have a good day.

Morning Losers.
Thank you for the update Brambling. It was a marathon this week, must have taken you ages. You are such a good girl!
Roblou, sorry you had a struggle this week. Perhaps cut back on the parrots for a while. It could help.
Blue. I have seen a new device in the shops lately. It is a rubber bag with a hole in the top. Apparently the idea is that you heat water and pour it into the rubber bag. So far so good. The designers have also addressed the problem of keeping the water inside the bag and have designed a handy plug that screws into the hole. Got it? You then have a rubber bag full of hot water that, hopefully, will stay inside the bag. You then place the bag in your bed, approximately where your feet might go, and it warms your tootsies a treat. What will they think of next?
Of course you may have problems that I wot not of, like nothing to heat water on. If so, just mention it and I will teach you how to rub 2 sticks together...............always happy to help.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Morning All,
Wow, so many losses!! Well done all and best of luck for a new week for any STSers and gainers.
I somehow managed to remember to hop on the scales this morning and, while it wasn't pretty, it was as expected and at least I know where I'm starting from. Food this week has been appalling (I ate everything in sight in preparation for starting healthy eating today...) but at least I managed to get a little bit of exercise at the weekend. IzHe and I are planning on doing a lot more walking this year so tested out our new hiking boots with a rather muddy tramp round the woods on Saturday and then I went for a 5.5 mile walk along the seafront with a friend yesterday.
I'm going to try to focus more on eating healthily than dieting and see how that goes for a while. If it doesn't work I'll go back to logging everything but, for now, I want to try not to think too much about it. I'm also trying to give up smoking (again...) so I'm going to be a joy this week
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8 -
-6 lbs for me please, Bramling.
Pity all the subsequent weeks aren’t as effective as week 1!10 -
Spent the past few days getting myself prepared with meal plans and shopping. Doctor has said that I’m OK to start exercising too so I’m ready to start shifting this baby weight9

Afternoon all. Weighed in this morning and I've lost 1.5lbs (thanks @Brambling 👍) Pleased with that as I'm aiming for 1lb a week off and didn't really do any exercise last week. Hoping for a better week this week but did just demolish quite a few chocolate biscuits in a bid to make me feel better.

Hi so today so far I have eaten: porridge, nuts, a slice of rye w pate, spoon of peanutbutter, more nuts, 2. day chicken and probably a wrap and roasted vege for dinner. A lot of munchies from behind my screen, but did go for a 35 min run this morning. Bring on the sun, daylight and everything ...Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
