This afternoon my sister and I went on a 5 mile walk, cold but nice unfortunately a little too muddy to go across the fields but good to get some exercise and catch up, I spoke to another sister for an hour this morning so I was sharing family gossip updates π it seems sister no1 had phoned sister no3 to complain about sister no4 and sister no3 called me so I repeated it all to sister no5 π³ no secrets in our family with six women Β πΒ
i made a batch of turkey soup this morning which I had for lunch, dinner was cheese and biscuits followed by fruit and yogurtΒ

Good morning everyoneΒ
I decided not to weigh in this week as I have not behaved myself and I don't want to start the challenge with a few of those purple faces winking at meΒ. However, after a long chat with my eldest daughter I feel I am back on track now and ready to do it properly. I have made a meal plan for the next three weeks and shopped accordingly so I have no excuses now. Oh, and my cold has gone so I am fighting fit.Β
Todays meals are:
b - biscoff pancakes and a banana -so yummy
l - prawn and avocado wraps
d - creamy Tuscan chicken with cauliflower carrots and a baked potato
I have decided to take over the cooking as well as it will give my husband a welcome break and it will get me moving a bit more. I actually like being in the kitchen feeding the family and most meals can be prepared in the morning when I have the energy.Β

Well think I have missed about a week, which might be reflected tomorrow, as have been quote overwhelmed by getting back behind the screen - work. Also this weekend was a birthday weekend, and since there is not. much else we can do - I spent a fair amount of time cooking, and eating. So it's time to face the music. Might be sightly boring in trying to list my food everyday for a few weeks, just to get back in to the habit. As I'm on seconds all around at the moment and it is definitely not on in the long run. Happy Monday everybody.

ΒMonna, if I donβt make meal plans I have no idea what day of the week it isΒIt also helps keep some sort of balance in what I eat (without resorting to exotic birds - that did make me laugh, thank you roblou!).

Good morning, I remembered to hop on the scales this morning first thing and am pleased to reportΒ a loss of 1lb.
Not sure how that's happened as we had takeaway on Saturday and I had leftovers, including rice, last night - which is never good pre-weighing.Β Meal planning has, however, been a bit more settled in the Shore's household this week - we've all been planning our own meals but ate together a few times.Β Its worked out well for the funds and for my waistline.Β Sometimes in the evening I'll have a small thin pizza (anything between 550 and 750 calories), which is enough for me on its own.Β But, if I'm doing pizza for the family, we'll have chips and probably coleslaw and/or beans as well - and of course I'll join in.Β I need to remember to be a bit more mindful with eating and just eat what I would normally have, not what everyone else is having.
My meal plan today is:Β porridge, open cheese/beetroot sandwich, omelette and salad.Β Tea and water in between."Think of many things, do one"

Sheepishly sneaks in to report a 1lb gain, π³ hey ho. It wasnβt a good week and very little running, in fact I felt like going into hibernation! Onwards and downwards as they say. Shopping at the crack of dawn this morning then just got back from a half hour run so starting off the week on a positive note.
1st brekkie π banana and SW bar
2nd brekkie. porridge
d - sausage pasta, left over sausages, peppers, cherry tommies and a stir in sauce that needs eating up
