WI day for me and happy to log a 3lb loss, not so happy to see the amount of snow we’ve got out there. I really don’t need to go anywhere but will see this as a positive and get some exercise clearing the drive and car, just because I hate having to deal with frozen snow.
Not much cooking required today I decided to use up some of my freezer stock.
B - Boiled egg & an oatcake. Pear
L - Curried butternut squash soup, crispbread with cheese & cucumber
D - Turkey pie (mashed potato topping) carrots & cabbage
Take care and have a good day.

Morning AllWell Monday came and I leapt out of bed ready to do battle with healthy eating....and I managed it until lunch time 🙄 having everyone one home and still being surrounded by Christmas 'goodies' was too much. So I am simply trying my best this week, I did have a slight breakthrough last night when I opened a packet of biscuits to have with my tea and after eating (several) I realised I didn't actually like them and THREW them away (no one else liked them either) I don't think I've ever thrown a biscuit away before 😂
Anyway next week I return to working in branch rather than home working, I have not enjoyed working from home at all and have struggled with my eyes and the screen, even after buying new glasses, also now the children are also working from home, there is not enough space for us all to work in, so back to work I go and I'm happy to do so. So that should help me stay on track better as no temptation at work. I did weigh my self on Monday and Wednesday this week and had lost but dh has made chocolate cake so I think I'd better wait til next Wednesday to do an official weigh in 😮'You have brains in your head. Good morning all. It's WI day and I have lost 4.5 lbs. Don't think that I've suddenly turned into a super dieter - some of it has been due to making an effort but I also have a slight medical issue going on. I had blood tests yesterday so hopefully I'll have some more information soon. In the mean time I am eating a very healthy (and small) range of foods.
Take care all of you8 -

Brunch - roasted beetroot and figs with feta
Tea - will be baked salmon plus broccoli with garlic and anchovy9 -
Blue Doggy thank you. I can't remember the last time I was this weight. My previous lowest that I remember was 2 lbs more than I weighed this morning and that was 20 years ago when I was trying to convince the late MrC that I should be his girlfriend

Some great numbers people 👏👏👏 lots of nice
Cranky I hope you're not feeling too bad. However it must feel good to hit that number on the scales
Sirens at least you did the right thing with the biscuits, I had some expensive chocolates for Christmas which I wasn't very keen on but still ate them, I wished I could say I had enjoyed them 😐
I love the sound of your brunch Frith I have figs and feta, just not sure if I want to face the town tomorrow just for the beetroot especially as I was there stocking up on F &V lunchtime
have a good weekend everyone
