A quick post to report NSD 1, cars washed, bathroom & kitchen cleaned and decluttered. Volunteer Olio collection done, lots of items listed free for others to collect, we will keep & freeze some, and anything left I'll drop at the local zoo.9

A spend day today - got fruit, veg, bread, milk, yoghurt and toothpaste, £7.75 spent plus got stuff for work so must remember to get the money back from petty cash tomorrow. Had planned a run this morning but decided on a walk instead as it was so icy out. Grateful for a good shift at work, double time
, a compliment from a colleague, getting home in one piece (slightly hairy moment on the way home when the car did not want to slow down and go round a corner
) and leftover Chinese takeaway for tea.

Sorry! I thought I had posted this!Janus - I have reflected using those questions prompts given, they were very handy so thank you. I have taken stock of the things that made me unhappy or dissatisfied last year and now I know where i can improveIdeas - I plan to make as many birthday and christmas gifts for 2021 as I can. I'm thinking bath bombs etcThriftiness - I've joined 0lio and decluttered a few bits, I'm happy to know they won't go to waste. I'll plan meals and purchases carefully, give items away if I can and set targets and rules for myself for spendingTime - I aim to go for a walk each day and leave my purse/cards at home!Exercise - the gym is closed so I will download the couch to 5k app, I also have a yoga mat and youtube access so no excusesRevisit - my budget is created and will be checked on an almost daily basis, I'll be using different spending pots and any money left on the day before i refill them will go to debt paymentsBe myself - I'm doing Veganuary, only slipped up on a pain au chocolat and that was from the freezer so not kicking myself too much. I'm not allowing myself to ewat junk, will be moving more, and need to get back on a sleep schedule that is more human and less bat-likeUnburden - I have and will be unburdening myself of past mistakes, unnecessary stuff and responsibilities that i have taken on grudgingly. I'm also going to find some positive affirmations to try and get used to being kind to myself.Gratitude and generosity - Oli0 rather than trying to sell items, gratitude each evening, and generosity where i can to the food bank, charity shop etc10

I have 1/15 NSD, had to buy some food today but I was very sensible and careful with what I bought and I actually left the shop without some form of cake or treat for when I got home9

Bagged nsd 2 yesterday but alas didn't manage to finish the blanket. I actually fell asleep on the sofa while I was working on it for a couple of hours. Good thing was that all of the important jobs were already done.
I'm supposed to be going out for a walk with my bestie this morning, but I suspect she is going to cancel on me again. She doesn't like walking in the bad weather. Nonetheless I will go for a walk at some point - thinking of giving her until 11am.
Other than that I'm aiming for another nsd, more work on my crochet blanket and to cross two more things off the annoying jobs list. That list seems to continue growing no matter what I do
I'm back at work tomorrow - no doubt grappling with recording myself talking over a powerpoint or running a z00m lesson or 22 for the week ahead. That triggers every bit of anxiety I have.
Oh, and I almost forgot, I have a meeting this afternoon to do exam related stuff. Although I expect all of that will change again over the next couple of days/weeks/months.
It's my last day off and I intend to spend none of it doing big bits of housework or stuff about the house. After my walk and meeting are taken off the day I want to crochet, relax, snooze and watch TV. That's fair enough once in a while...

NSD 2 today. I spent the morning distributing and arranging collection of the surplus food I collected last night. 2 lovely people left me some jam and chutney in exchange for their box of goodies. We're allowed to keep around 10% of what we collect, and it was a big collection yesterday, so we're having a buffet dinner today, and I got some sausages, meatballs, chicken, and turkey slices for the freezer. It will all help with reducing grocery spends this month.
I'm back to work tomorrow so, other than a quick potter and tidy up later, I'm having a lazy afternoon. I'm currently snuggled with DC3 watching Peter Pan. I must move and fill my water bottle soon though to make sure I drink enough of it, and that I finish it well before bed time!8 -
Afternoon all. Forgot to post yesterday but up to 3 NSD's. Needed painkillers but don't count them as they're a health spend.
Been out horse riding this morning, was cold but not raining, and it was quieter than last week. Aiming to ride 200k this year, might not sound like much but with my dodgy back it's more than enough! Currently running a bath with some bath salts and petals that OH have me for Xmas. Time for a bit of pampering before going back to work tomorrow.6 -
No money has come out of my bank account since Xmas Eve. Not bad eh? NSD 3 today, went for a walk with DS4, got rained on, came home ,and had a lovely bath. Dh made lunch and now I am sat on the sofa with a cup of tea waiting to receive the letter from the primary school they sent me a text about 4 hours ago. I hate waiting. Why send a text to tell me I will be receiving a link to a letter that I need to read, and then wait so long? Must be a terribly long letter. It is not doing my relaxing Sunday afternoon mood any good.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Tesco order arrived. Thank goodness I cancelled most of it. I don’t know where it’s all going to go. Some very strict measures regarding buying and hoarding are going to have to come into play in this household.
I see the Scottish parliament is being recalled tomorrow and the First Minister is planning an urgent statement. I think we could be heading for a full lockdown up this way. Although I don’t know what else we can close apart from schools. The situation is pretty desperate though son I don’t know that we have a choice.
Looking forward to try my hand at baking tomorrow.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
