Today I am grateful for a morning run, for recorded strongman, for dd not needing any tissues in today's lessons, for a tax rebate (£200, thank you very much), for the spring flowers poking through.

@Buffythedebtslayer I hope your bun is feeling a bit better today, never nice when they need an op, sending hugs from me and my buns!

I'm up to 14 NSD's which is fab. Yesterday I bought a new tyre inflator as mine died a few weeks back, finally found one at a reasonable price. If it lasts anywhere near as long as the last one I'll be happy. I also bought a diffuser, wasn't necessary but mine had run out and I like this company, so it's a treat.

Today I've made a boo boo. I had a little bit of mould around the window edges where I've been drying washing inside, we get it a tiny bit every winter, and I just spray it with mould remover and everything is fine. Except I didn't realise the spray has bleach in it and got it both on my sleeve and on one of OH's tops that was drying on the radiator! Am annoyed as I've ruined my hoodie... he has about 4 more tops in that shade so he shouldn't notice one disappear  :D considering buying some dye to try and dye the hoodie black but it has a big decal down one sleeve so not sure if it'll work. Anyone have any ideas?
Cut it up for rags or keep it for painting/ mucky jobs. I hate and detest bleach (bad for the environment) and mould spray is the worst (except it is better than mould). I wouldn't touch it wearing anything I might want to wear in public again - I will get some on me at some point. Luckily I live the sort of life that demands many painting/ mucky jobs clothes. Unless you can persuade everyone that black with brown spots is a fashion statement or tie dye is coming back.
Yeah I normally avoid bleach,  I just didn't even realise! Might try and dye it, won't have lost much if it doesn't work apart from a few pounds buying dye. Will need to replace it otherwise!

NSD 15 today!  Lots of food left in the freezer.
Forgot which account the breakdown insurance comes out of, so that will come out  tomorrow ruining the NSD, to be honest I forgot it was coming out at all. So I will be £25 down on next week's budget,  and will need fuel as well.  Oh well, soup is cheap!
Made the most gorgeous maple and pecan bundt -  the kids were majorly impressed........  however, the diet  and exercise is not going well.   Will focus on that when this latest storm goes away. The mornings are getting lighter so I will get out while the rest of the world is sleeping.
Gratitudes:  I did not waste my time doing a PGCE.  I would be a rubbish school teacher, I am all about the fun, not the hard graft. At least you can threaten to sit on your own children.
Weather horrid today but I did not have to go out!  So I didn't.
Only another 2  hours of schoolwork for DS4 to do today, sadly it is after 7pm, so we will start tomorrow with the rest of today's.   Why is this a gratitude? Because we are on the right day still and might even catch up tomorrow! that's as close to Scarlett O'Hara as I get.
Threatening to peg them on the washing line by their ears makes them giggle too - I used to apologise to the teddies when I was doing it to them so they had seen me do it. Had to take back my NSD as I have paid mum's house insurance and taken out a magazine subscription for a puzzle book (saves the special journey into town to buy it and if I don't feel like doing them (love the 16 x 16 sudokus) I can let them pile up so I have spare ones when I am in the mood. Shop also has lovely sweets so will save a fortune on not being tempted.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    Hi from very wet Wales.
Buffy - hope bunnykins is better. Love bunnies, ended up with my dd's for 8 years great fun.
Today I need milk and maybe some fruit so another NSD lost but only be a small spend.
Cooker hood arriving given me hour slot so can pop home lunchtime as doubt it will fit into my narrow porch with its packing.
Sorted out lots of clothes for charity bag collection today, almost crying at new jumpers put in the bag, tight under my arms and few still had labels attached. At least lockdown stop buying clothes I don't need.
    Grateful for
Good tv to watch last night, Finding Alice 3 episodes and 1 outlander episode
Nice glass or 2 of wine, sorry to everyone doing dry Jan.
Small walk fairly dry after work.
