Today I am grateful for a morning run, for recorded strongman, for dd not needing any tissues in today's lessons, for a tax rebate (£200, thank you very much), for the spring flowers poking through.

I'm up to 14 NSD's which is fab. Yesterday I bought a new tyre inflator as mine died a few weeks back, finally found one at a reasonable price. If it lasts anywhere near as long as the last one I'll be happy. I also bought a diffuser, wasn't necessary but mine had run out and I like this company, so it's a treat.
Today I've made a boo boo. I had a little bit of mould around the window edges where I've been drying washing inside, we get it a tiny bit every winter, and I just spray it with mould remover and everything is fine. Except I didn't realise the spray has bleach in it and got it both on my sleeve and on one of OH's tops that was drying on the radiator! Am annoyed as I've ruined my hoodie... he has about 4 more tops in that shade so he shouldn't notice one disappearconsidering buying some dye to try and dye the hoodie black but it has a big decal down one sleeve so not sure if it'll work. Anyone have any ideas?

Tuesday- NSD 13/15. Tomorrow there will be a milk and fresh bits requirement but hopefully less than £25 for the weeks "big" top up.
buffy- hope bunny feels OK, it's awful when they are not well.
lcc- you may as well try to dye it- if it doesn't work you're only the price of the dye worse off.

NSD 15 today! Lots of food left in the freezer.Forgot which account the breakdown insurance comes out of, so that will come out tomorrow ruining the NSD, to be honest I forgot it was coming out at all. So I will be £25 down on next week's budget, and will need fuel as well. Oh well, soup is cheap!Made the most gorgeous maple and pecan bundt - the kids were majorly impressed........ however, the diet and exercise is not going well. Will focus on that when this latest storm goes away. The mornings are getting lighter so I will get out while the rest of the world is sleeping.Gratitudes: I did not waste my time doing a PGCE. I would be a rubbish school teacher, I am all about the fun, not the hard graft. At least you can threaten to sit on your own children.Weather horrid today but I did not have to go out! So I didn't.Only another 2 hours of schoolwork for DS4 to do today, sadly it is after 7pm, so we will start tomorrow with the rest of today's. Why is this a gratitude? Because we are on the right day still and might even catch up tomorrow! that's as close to Scarlett O'Hara as I get.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Partial top-up shop today. The shop didn’t have a couple of things I needed which means I’ll need to sacrifice another NSD later in the week. ☹️ NSD 10/15.
A good 18 minutes walk this morning - the route I did is just over a mile.
I also got a reply from a cinema for which we had out of date gift vouchers. They’ve renewed them for another year. Hopefully we get to use them within the year!
Today I finally submitted my job grade review form - I’ve procrastinated on completing this for some time. It was quite a tough form so I’m glad to have it ticked it off the list. I just hope it was worth the effort and my job is upgraded. It’ll give me a bit more income, and importantly, proper recognition of the job I actually do.

Morning all...
Busy few days over weekend, and ended up going to sort Mum Monday too as carers couldn't cope. Left we wiped out and thought enough is enough. Increased care hours and now on a mission to find respite, which isn't easy mid-lockdown. Think I have accumulated another few NSDs but have lost count to be honest! That all said, have been getting out for walks at a minimum and working on positivity. Hugs all x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Another 2 NSDs so that brings me up to 17. Honestly, just so little happening here that I can't think of interesting to post. And we are now in restrictions here until mid February at least. Nothing to be done so just have to get on with it. Although I'm very grateful for little Mr Peanuts who is getting more tame by the day. I sat outside (in the freezing cold) having a cup of coffee and he just sat there eating his seeds and nuts and having a look at me.
I am scheduled to get my vaccination in mid February (all going well) but I had an email from my brother in Canada saying his is scheduled for the autumn. He's 69. Apparently they can't guarantee the will have the vaccine. I have no idea what is going on now. Think I'll just keep out of harm's way as far as possible.
Abundant - I do hope you get something sorted out for your Mother. It's a difficult situation in the best of times but must be so, so difficult just now. I'm sending you millions of hugs.
F0xh0les - Himself threatens to put them in the soup pot. That always gets a giggle. Excuse my ignorance but what is a bundt?
Hope you all have a nice evening. xx
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
It is a round cake form with a big hole in the middle. So it makes a wreath shaped cake.I found it in a charity shop in December, it is brown glazed ceramic and marked West Germany on the bottom, I love it.It is my new favourite toy.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
