Margaret Green's Animal Rescue has rescued me in time as OH's birthday is in a couple of weeks. (And there's that other big present day looming as well.....)
They had a very clean small LP (more like an extended play) of Mario Lanza singing a variety of opera ditties and a BN, never opened cd of Willy Nelson. Ok - OH has very eclectic tastes! But that's 2 presents stowed away for a total of £1.50. It's Lanza for the turntable and Nelson for in the car!
The fact that I also got myself 2 cds for another £1 is a bonus. Michael Nyman soundtrack for The Piano and Nat King Cole greatest hits - both for in my car when I'm tiddling to and from work.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. *Sigh* Sunday, called into 'Boyes' in Northallerton to buy a dress/coat cover thingy to store a good jacket away from moths over winter. Then popped in the BHF chazza almost next door and guess what....first thing I saw was a brand new pack of 2 dress/coat covers, much better quality and half the price of the single cover I had just purchased. Life is very funny sometimes.......9

I bought a lovely Per Una knitted scarf for 50p this lunchtime. Woolly and warm with a glamorous quality to it, I can't wait for it to dry so I can start using it.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Got a really nice winter coat, M&S for about £8.00 last week, I forget where, the stresses of October have given me foggy brain again.
Another odd thing I use CSs for is, Cosplay items... Might sound ridiculous, it's basically fancy dress, but it's normally the kind for Film/TV and Comic convention type events. You'll see some amazing creations if you google image search, people put amazing effort into it!
I have charity shopped items over the last few years to cover:
Princess Leia - White Gilet, polo neck top
Jynn Erso from Rogue One-Star Wars - Dark blue shirt, olive short length jacket
Seven of Nine from Star Trek - Green knit jumper for under biker style jacket
Emma Swan in Once Upon a Time - Red biker jacker
and most recently, Yelena Belova from the Black Widow - Grey men's suit jacket
Apologies if you've not heard of some of these but, I've been so pleased with finds for them, now just somewhere to actually wear them..... *laughs nervously*Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Jan 2012: £16,000+ [STRIKE] Credit Card & Overdraft Debts Sep 2013: £13,023 [/STRIKE]

Found an M & S black cashmere cardi in the St Gemma's Hospice shop in Otley, 99p. Currently residing in a plastic bag in the freezer bit of me fridge before being de-bobbled and washed. Also got a pair of Karen Millen trousers in a grey & black marled 70% wool fabric, also 99p Wide legged as I'm trying to get used to to this style as all the fashionista's seem to be saying that skinnies/slimfit are out now. Though as new I think they must be practically 'vintage' and from before KM sold out to BooHoo and started using mostly polyester, (ick). Also, in the 20p shop I found a nice, as new M & S pure silk tie with a neat pattern of navy and dark turquoise.....perfect as a gift in the 'festive season'.8
