Popped into the BHF shop in Northallerton on Sunday and came out with a navy TOG24 jacket, outside it appears to be like scuba fabric but is lined with some fleecy stuff. Will be very useful, £9.95. Today I found a Barbour ladies striped top in cream & brown for £4.95 and also a BNWT cocktail stylee dress with matching wrap in a pewter shade with some discrete beadwork from Roman and priced at £7, both from the Sue Ryder shop. Finally I found a lovely cream cashmere polo neck sweater in a small cable pattern, brand was Daniel Bishop Cashmere and priced at £3.95 from St Gemma's Hospice shop. (Was minutely examined for moth damage and bobbling - looks perfect and unworn!!).10

Wow @Miró some brilliant bargains there.
I popped into my favourite BHF shop this morning and found these Lock & Lock containers and a blue Kilner jar.
I'd never come across a coloured Kilner before and am now wondering about colour coding my stores!

I found a 100% linen summer dress, made in Italy, in khaki with navy flowers on in our local hospice shop for £4.50.
These are priced around £40 in one of the department stores in a nearby city.

2 more finds this week from the 99p shop. A John Rocha linen dress in autumnal shades but is more of a summer dress. Then a bit of a mistook, saw a burgundy thermal long sleeved tshirty thing by Uniqlo, size M. Tried it on after washing it and realised the M was a mens size so the shoulders are a bit wide and the sleeves a bit long. Will be fine as an extra layer under walking gear tho.

Long sleeves in thermals are one of the best things though, cut a thumb hole and you can wear them over your hands. Love it.
I know I've already spoken about my lamp but I love it so much. So here's a picture.12 -
