4 plant pots for £1 each.
Another 12 books on the 4 for £1 offer. Just about made it home without losing my fingers from the weight of the bag LOL
One plant pot will be repurposed as a Christmas gift with a festive 'something' in it since its an antique gold colour and not my cup of tea....Wealth is not measured by currency8 -

I'm looking for a fluorescent jacket to wear when cycling in the dark so that I show up nice and clearly when pedalling along, I do have various lights etc. and according to one friend look rather like an animated Christmas Tree in mid air but should really like to stand out!

Not been far this week due to having to wait in for various tradespeople.....*sigh*!!
Floated past the community shop one day tho and picked up an M & S winter scarf in black and camel for 75p and in the 99p St Gemmas shop I got a nice J Crew turquoise cotton shirt.8 -
Hi all, I've recently stumbled across this thread whilst in my sick bed and have enjoyed reading about all your fab finds!
I just love a CS and now that I'm back on fighting form thought I would post my latest finds:
John Lewis boys Christmas jumper £3
M&S boys Dinosaur PJs they look new £1.50
Fat face boys shirt £2
Nothing for me but I do love buying bits for the family. I was tempted by a cashmere cardigan but balked at the £25 price tag!
Hoping to pop into my local town this weekend for another fix :-)11 -

I might have been tempted by the cashmere cardi had it been brand spanking new but not otherwise, (my recent encounter with moths still gives me the shivers!!)8 -

@Brie - you asked whether I'd prefer a jacket or a gilet and I think the jacket is preferable because then you are more person shaped IYSWIM.
@StickyTheStickInsect - what a kind offer, thankyou. I'd better set a max. spend of £15 I think just so that you know before lashing out. Thankyou again and I hope we spot one soon.
I visited Barnardo's and Oxfam today and bought a pristine Persephone edition of Dorothy Whipple's The Priory for £3.99 which still had its lovely bookmark inside the front cover. I did look at some Craghoppers trousers but they were two sizes too big so I decided not to as there's nothing nastier than having to keep hitching up ones clothing as one walks along.
I also bought an Australian Women's Weekly little cookbook with 50 or so muffin recipes in it and a BBC Good Food Christmas made easy cookbook both for 50p each.

Our local "everything's £1" clearance shop this week turned up a plum long line jumper (bhs) - immaculate condition. Black stretch primark trousers (still tagged), checked thick m&s leggings, blue hooded jumper all for me and a James Pringle 90% pure wool jumper and marvel t shirt for DH (t-shirt hadn't been worn, you could still feel the dressing in it) jumper was bobbly but a quick whizz over with my de-bobbler and it's looking like new.Oh and a wooden cat.....a whole £7 spent in there.8
