Currently on holiday in mid Wales. Had a browse in charity shops today. Daughter had brand new Next jumper and a fatface skirt. I found a lovely infinity scarf and a summer fabric shoulder bag, both immaculate. It's a nice change to browse another towns chazzas for a change.6

Couldn't pass my favourite BHF shop yesterday morning, even though I was loaded down with supermarket shopping, and snapped up a wire scoop, £1, which I plan to use for falafels and a lovely M*rks top which had been reduced to half its marked price so cost £2.49, result.

Recovering agoraphobic met the exposure target and made it into two charity shops (well one was the aim so exceeded).
Cost me £13 (would have been £10 if I hadn't done the second shop) but I have come home with 7 good size ceramic plant pots for all my green babies (my houseplants). First was Blue Cross and it was packed in there! Second was the Yorkshire Cancer, I love their little back section (with its own entrance) full of bric and brac.
Lovely volunteer told me anything I'd picked that had a green dot would be half the ticket price. Checked what I had, no green dots but I'd picked it up thinking I was paying full ticket price anyway so was quite happy with the prices. Then she did me a deal and charged £3 for what should have been £5 (no green dots on my pickings) so told her she'd absolutely made my day.
Spotted a little moon dish that I might go back for , and cups and saucers for craft endeavours - good, what I would call, charity pricesWealth is not measured by currency8 -
A small jaunt yesterday but some unexpectedly nice finds...
Two tops from Maison Scotch/Scotch and Soda - this is a Dutch brand that I have found secondhand before and really like. Not at all worth the money new (59.95 for a tank top!), but I snap up anything I see by them on my charity shop trawls. First top is this one: https://poshmark.com/listing/Pop-Odyssey-Maison-Scotch-Textured-Blouse-5f76816c771b8ee74d8ec73f for £5.99 from ageuk. And then £5 for this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114216207106 from Isabel Hospice.
And then I found this dress: https://poshmark.com/listing/Massimo-Dutti-maxi-dress-size8-5f873234ae766f14f52b7fdb
It was £12, so not the cheapest, but again, if I bought it new it would be closer to £100. Pictures on my insta if you want to see me wearing it!
I am being very disciplined and doing a one-in/one-out policy on charity shop buys, which is working well.
Happy weekend!

Back to Blue Cross shop today, and 3 more plant pots today. Was no-one else in there so much nicer, 9:30 is clearly the time to go! So £5 spent there.
Went back for the moon dish too but couldn't spot it anywhere. Shame! Couldn't spot any nice cups and saucers for my purposes either. Visited Sue Ryder shop too, nothing much taking my fancy in there but was well spaced out.Wealth is not measured by currency7 -
Not a single purchase this week which is most unlike me.
I did see 3 of my 4 White Stuff dresses which I had donated to the posh boutique hospice shop priced as £12.50 each, considerably more than I had paid for them in previous charity shops.6 -
I got a whole heap of cut crystal dishes and coloured glass flower-shaped plates for using as saucers for my indoor plant pots and two large ginger jars for £10 for the two to put succulents in.
I also found a load of matching wicker baskets for my friend for her new house.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I popped by the BHF shop and found that some kind soul had donated some lovely locknlock style glass storage containers as well as some plastic ones so I snapped them up for £5.25 for four. I also bought a dinky little Bailey's branded cocoa sifter, 50p, which will be very useful for pastry and icing sugar too."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

I really must curb my chazzer addiction, having to compress all my belongings downstairs (n=1) into a restricted space which now has to accommodate a temporary kitchen should have learned me yet the craving exists. It also helps to know that I'm going to have even more spaceNo man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.4
