I managed to keep out of any CS for 3 whole days. On Saturday however DH was off to DIY place and his journey passed my fave CS. So:
A Red crossbody/rucksack bag Duo Mei Lun £4
Rose gold star earrings £2.50
And a British Airways Club Class Elemis freebie thing for 50p. It was all fastened up so I didn’t know what was in it but I do like Elemis stuff. Anyway it had Elemis lip balm, sample size body lotion, sample size face cream, a toothbrush and sample size toothpaste, a biro and flight socks and sleep mask and ear plugs all brand new and in packaging. The sample size stuff will be great for a night or two away so v pleased.10 -
Pollycat said:I've not bought anything since the shops reopened, although I've taken lots of things to our local hospice shop.I left a fabulous Phase Eight maxi dress in vibrant colours on the rail for someone else as it would have needed taking up quite a lot and I just couldn't be bothered. It was £6.00 so a bargain for someone.Turned out to be a bargain for me.6 days on and it was still there. Not on the rail.Oh no. Not lurking there. It was in the middle of the shop, right opposite the door on a dummy saying "C'mon. You know you want me".It would have been rude not to.So I did.Luscious colours of purples, jades. fuchsia, gold, blue in a large flower pattern. One sunflower is 9" across.A little snug at the moment but it's in the wash and I'll decide if I just want to shorten it to flat sandals maxi length or just on the knee.OH votes for the latter. And a lidless bread crock by Cloverleaf 8" tall and 9" across with a herb design on the front.I will use this as a planter (plant pot cover) for one of my tall cacti that needs repotting. £2.00A bit like this but the design is nicer.

I just went to a few charity shops near me on a whim. I only had £5 in my purse.
I found some dark green ankle boots from New Look. They have some mud on them but they looked like they could be cleaned. £3. I also got two matching black and white linen cushions to put on my armchairs when we sell the house. It all came to £5.10 -
Sayschezza said:Today I got a J Taylor maxi skirt black/beige for £3. Washed it when I got home and the overskirt is now shorter than the lining. It's drying on a hanger so I'm hoping it will drop into place when dry.
I also got a white stuff sleeveless blouse blue/white for £3.
My week end chazza bargains from North Yorkshire were....from Thirsk on Saturday, an M & S beige 'safari stylee' skirt with loads of flaps and pockets and buttons £4 and an M & S top in a gorgeous delicate silk and cotton lawn mix fabric in a ditsy print of lavender and mink shades. - shirt style with pin tucks down the front and cute little pewter ball buttons. Only when I got it home I found a small tear in the sleeve just above the cuffs. Was going to return it but felt a bit mean doing that so I chopped off the cuffs and a couple of extra inches and made the sleeves 3/4 length...looks fine now! Then on Monday in Ripon I saw a pure silk skirt in a burgundy/cream & dark grey swirly pattern for £5. Was brand new from a make called 'Allison' and a quick Google indicates it is a family run clothing firm in Cyprus. Paid and was on my way out when I had a quick rifle through the ladies tops rail....and there was the matching top to go with the skirt...priced at £3.50!!10 -
I forced myself to stir my stumps this morning when the sun made a brief appearance and called in to my local BHF shop.
I was rewarded with an icing set - 32 nozzles, piping bags and couplers, flower nails - in a lovely plastic box with adjustable compartments that is in pristine condition for £3.99.
I moved on to the bookcases and couldn't resist Baking with Vegetables, who wouldn't fall for Cauliflower and Apricot Swirl Cheesecake Bars or Dark Chocolate, Black Pepper and Potato Mini-muffins, a mere £2.50.
My last purchase was Rowan magazine no 35 from spring/summer 2004 for £3.50 which has some lovely designs in cotton.
So there you are, I've spent £9.99 on lots of lovely things to do at home when the weather's too nasty to be out and about, which it almost always is this year, let's hope I don't get to do everything before the end of August!"She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

Thanks Miro and yes the skirt was fine once dry. Today I bought a pair of navy jersey trousers for £1. Love jersey trousers for relaxing indoors. All that clutter used to be money7

Yesterday's trip to Otley unearthed an M & S elbow length sleeved t-shirt in cream for 20p and a white Hawkshead thick 3/4 sleeved t-shirt for 99p. Todays tripette to the CRUK barn saw me tempted by several things but I resisted and just came away with a pair of hardly worn M & S Footglove tasseled loafers in a nutty brown shade for £3. I already have a pair of these in tan and they cost me 45 squids new!!!8

I bought a large oblong brown glazed meat dish (like Pearsons or Masons but unmarked) with a pale cream interior that I'm going to use as a bird bath/drinking water.£3.00 from local hospice.I've been using a plastic tray that had 1kg of chicken breasts in and the blackbirds seem to love it.So I've gone upmarket with the new one (that matches my big planters) and I'll introduce a booking system and refuse entry to the wood pigeons and rock doves.13
