Miró said:Went for a trundle around Northallerton this afty but half of the charity shops were closed. Not sure if it was just cos of the bank holiday or if if they have just not started up again. Anyhoo, in one of them I found a pair of Bellssimo (Pavers) ivory leather ballet flats, b/n, for £9.99. After lockdown I’m going more for comfort than vertiginous heels! Then...oh dear, I did it again, spotted a nice Barbour jumper, dithered and another woman grabbed it...aaarrrgghh!6

@Miró!! 🙈🙈🙈 NO DITHERING!@goldfinches - it’s a whimsical and slightly ridiculous dress but as the world opens up I might get to go to a few more glamorous events. We’ll see. The sandals are SO comfy... I adore them.7

I take Albert would be no use defending your hoped for prizes? Or could carrying a carefully sedated cat be too much effort?5 -

@Magpie100 these are the rose gold Converse. They are junior size 3.8

@Potternerd fabulous! I love rose gold. 😍6

@Potternerd - those are absolutely gorgeous shoes, I'm very envious of your small size feet too. I'm a 42 or 43 depending on the shape of the toe box and get much less choice on the new or used shoe front than some other sizes.
I was planning on a cycling foray to a far flung chazza tomorrow but the weather here is currently doing its best to discourage the idea so I may just walk to my local favourite if there is a small break in the clouds.

I love rose gold too.
Today in the v posh charity shop I got a lovely royal blue cotton Boden military jacket with cream trims. It was £25 eek but more on eBay.
BNWT in packaging M and S thermal socks. One pair cream with navy heel and toe, the other navy with cream heel and toe £4. I like the fact M and S do different adult sizes (3 to 5 for me) as I normally end up with kids’ socks.
A White Stuff blue patterned thin cotton tote £2.50 handy for unscheduled CS purchases!
I have spent a small fortune in the last 3 weeks so may have to start going to the beach to avoid the CSs but I have also not bought lots of things and love the ones I have.8
