Happy new year to all my lovely flylady friends xx
It’s a dark frosty morning here, and it is trying very hard to snow again. I have a cuppa and am still in my dressing gown. The 3 of us had a drawn out dinner last night, and the wine just may have flowed a little too freely. I’m not sure that we will see surface DD for a while...
Take care, stay warm and safe, and here’s to another year of flying and being there for each other xx9 -
Morning all
have been downstairs to chop the veg etc for a stew that's now in the SC.
Back in bed with a coffee.
DD is thinking of going for a walk and I may well accompany her.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Happy New Year to every one of my Flylady friends, thank you for helping me to get through 2020, and I look forward to sharing whatever 2021 brings with you x
We stayed up and saw the New Year in with DS2. DS1 is at work today so was already in bed. It's absolutely pouring down here, we were supposed to be going to the coast for a walk to celebrate DSs birthday tomorrow a day early, but not sure what we will do now.
Round someone had posted on FB that the roads were treacherous early on, glad I didnt hear DS leave for work at 5.30am or I would have been fretting!!

Morning. Happy new year to you all. Still in my dressing gown although I have done some exercise and had a bath. Breakfast dishes are also washed. Not sure what I'll do today, currently trying to shift a headache.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Morning all and a happy new year to my flylady friends x
Dailies are done and I’ve done my physio, damp and a bit drizzly here but we will head out for a short walk later for some fresh air, I was in bed before midnight but then all the local fireworks woke me up!
We have a nice (hopefully) meal of beef Wellington planned for this evening so I need to prep the veg to go with that. Second cuppa is calling me first though!
Have a good day x10 -

Afternoon all,
I was fast asleep by 9, and the fireworks woke me at midnight. I have a really heavy cold so I'm being idle today. Kids building lego, fire lit, DW on. I am back in work Monday, we have over 500 key worker and extremely vulnerable students, as well as all the testing to organise. I too am very annoyed staff aren't getting vaccinated Valli.Enjoy your afternoon everyone xx10 -
Yesterday I cleaned spaghetti junction of wires behind the tv stand ( I hate it. I’m sure if mine had been a spick and span house then the cable engineer would have done a better job of our installation) I have also vacuumed under the it and cleaned the emergency oil filled radiator. I have put some large soft toys in the boys’ room, also the big double exercise ball. Paint work washed down. I’ve decided to decorate the living ASAP and to get a professional quote for the hall and stairs.
Today
DH has vacuumed under the small sofa, I’ve washed my hair and changed my nail varnish.
Apparantly DS2 is ok, we are still advised not to visit.

Hi all
Just back from a blissful walk on the beach with DS2. We bought chips and ducked under the canopy of an empty beach hut to shelter from a sudden and very sharp rain shower while the chips were eaten. We then rounded off the afternoon with boiling hot takeaway tea while we watched the waves and reminisced about previous trips to the coast. It wasn't busy so it was easy to socially distance and it was so good to get out for a bit.
DH stayed home because his back is bothering him and he isn't sleeping well. We promised DS a takeaway for his birthday but I might have to have something small as I really feel like I have eaten too much! Tomorrow we are taking DS back to student land, then it will be a case of having a big clean and declutter to return the house to normal before Monday.10
