Wednesday - sorry to hear about your dye problem - I have never been brave enough to dye anything apart from my hair 😀.
It is a beautiful day here too - we took our cat for a walk this morning - he loves trotting along behind us along the footpath near our house 😻

I love black and white cats.
My first cat was black and white. One of the cats I had used to try and follow my husband out of the street to work. We only have 2 cats now (we used to have 7 at one point, I think?) and they are indoor now as they are both older and we live in an urban area.
I have just been listening to music all day. I haven't even started reading my new book yet this week.
I thought it was strange that my husband hadn't booked his second Covid jab yet (as so many people online seem to be booking both at once, my brother just texted me and said he did too) but the GP surgery said they would contact him 12 weeks after the first one. I hope that is right.

I can confirm that maddie. I think it's because the GP surgeries get very short notice of how many doses they'll get and what time they'll arrive. They must have a list at the ready and then get on the phones PDQ.7

It was beautiful down here, I wanted to go somewhere different to shop so we drove to Torquay and I did some shopping in M&S. I love their fruit and veg and when I wasn't shopping I did miss picking my own fruit and veg. We drove all along the front and the sea was beautiful, a real turquoise and the sun was shining. It was really nice.
I'm still working up courage to dye my towels. I'm also working up courage to get someone round to do a quote for a new bathroom. In Feb last year I had picked some stuff out and was looking at getting a quote and of course we all know what happened then. It did need doing but honestly a year on it is desperate. I'm not that fussy just want something clean and bright. The suite was here when we bought the house, it is called Old English White which is an off white sort of cream colour, to me it never looks quite clean so a white suite and new tiles.

Having our bathroom refurbished was one of the best moves ever pixie. We dithered for ages and finally decided to go the whole hog and replace absolutely everything. We love it. We get pleasure just from using it every day. It's about 18 months since it was finished and I'm still delighted. 😊7

Pixie, are you watching Stacey & the DNA thing? There's another on ITV tomorrow.
Wednesday, get hold of some Dylon Pre-Dye to strip some of that colour out before you dye your bedding again.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Yes Floss I am following that programme but I haven't been watching much TV, I think I've watched too much in the last year so trying to be a bit more selective.
Horrible here this morning, really grey, cold, wet and generally miserable. I'm having a bit of a spring clean as a clean tidy house does make me feel happier, hard when you live with a hoarder.7 -
chanie said:sashybo said:Thanks chanie, yes they are pricey which is a bit off putting as you think £20 for a pair of pants! Of course they have the built in pad etc but at first glance it does seem a lot.
Hopefully they are designed to last a good while, so although the outlay is bigger at first, overall it won't be much more expensive per use. 🤔 I think I will try a couple of brands and see how I get on but it will have to be over a few months due to the expense.

Lovely cat sukeyboo. ❤️
I have been listening to podcasts and reading articles through patreon - you can sign up and support artists you like etc. I have only signed up for two - one subscription for £1 p/m and one for £3 p/m (plus VAT). They are both historians - one for Ancient Rome and one for the Medieval period, it's very interesting and quite funny. It's something a bit different and I'm happy to support writers whose work I enjoy.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
