Maman I followed your example and cut my fringe, I wasn't too adventurous as I was worried about it going wonky but actually it looks much better and I feel loads better without hair in my eyes so thank you for the inspiraction.
I've just realised I am almost out of moisturiser so need to have a look around and buy something or I will shrivel.6 -
I did the oil cleansing method today which is just when you rub oil on your face and then take it off with a hot, wet flannel. I also had a bubble bath and defuzzed.
I did 10 minutes on my trampoline and I will do another 10 minutes when I finish ordering my Tesco grocery order for the weekend. I need to look for some new music to listen to. Maybe 90s dance music or something as it feels like I have listened to all music I normally do during this lockdown!
The highlight of next week is my routine blood test.I think they should keep the way of booking an appointment. I think that is a better way than just turning up and having to wait. I wish they would keep the telephone GP appointments for minor things like needing antibiotics as it is more efficient.
We started watching Jersey Shore last night. I recorded it ages ago and we haven't caught up with it. It's pretty mindless but usually entertaining.

I’ve just had a chat with my boss about flexible working when we are back onsite and it’s been agreed that I can work 2 days a week from home - 3 days during term breaks. It will really help with the childcare costs, so I’m really pleased.7

Well done for grasping the nettle, (or rather the fringe) pixie! Like you I just did a tiny bit and plan to do another cm or so on Sunday. It's not just that I don't want it in my eyes but when my fringe is too long it tends to go very lank, probably from the weight.
I think moisturiser is probably my Number 1 'must have' beauty product. For a long time I was perfectly happy with Aldi Day Cream and then my eyes started watering really badly an hour or so after I used it. I think they must have changed the ingredients or maybe I was going through a sensitive period for some reason. I changed to a very expensive Benefit one which I love. Not very mse but I do buy it in gift packs so get some 'freebies' to try with it. I might give Aldi another go and see if I can use it. It's cheap enough to use up on hands and feet if it doesn't agree with me still.
I had to google those towels chanie. Did you buy yours on Amazon? How do they work? I've used it all up now but I was using a body scrub . The towels sound more sustainable.
ETA: Cross posted and just read your news about the flexible working. That's brilliant!! It's not just childcare costs but you'll save on commuting costs too and save some time. Delighted for you! 😊
That flat was very glamorous Wednesday and in a good spot with the beach and transport links nearby. I'm another that wouldn't want open plan living though. I think if DH and I had been forced into one space 24/7 through lockdown we'd have found it very difficult. We tend to have breakfast and dinner together and go out for walks some days. In between we have our own space and only catch up occasionally through the day, usually over endless cups of tea.
It's quite a nice day here. It's only 7 degrees but it is bright and clear. I'm definitely going to do Fab Friday when I go out. I'm finding that wearing a mask encourages me to make up my eyes. We plan to have a walk too so might combine it with food shopping as I generally shop on my own. I can leave DH in the car while I nip around the supermarket. I've told him it's 'illegal' to shop together and then we don't' get extra biscuits in the trolley! 🤣7 -

Bright & sunny here too maman but a tad on the chilly side.
I also trimmed my fringe earlier in the week - mine tends to go to wavy once it gets too long.
Great news about your flexible working chanie - I think a lot of workplaces are much more open to that style of working now.
Having a takeaway pizza tonight with a couple of glasses of red wine 😉🍷.4 -
Great news Chanie, my employer are looking likely to still be mainly WFH until July earliest, we each do one day in & 4 at home. And I'd be interested in those towels too, as Maman says they sound more sustainable.
Have stepped out of my normal workwear comfort zone, with a floaty tiered snake print mini dress over a l/s tee and black leggings with knee boots. I've got a large fine wool scarf on too, as the aircon ramps up after lunch & it blows chilly on my back! Boots lightweight foundation, a Bare Minerals sheer lippy called Panko and Avon eye pencil finish me off with my disposable blue mask as an accessory 😁2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Maman I think I will have another go at my fringe, getting my confidence. I've been using a moisturiser from Lidl, I'd tried another one of their's and it didn't suit me but I tried another one and it was OK. Not sure what to try, I might lash out on something a bit more luxurious as I've just balanced the books for the last month and I've got £200 more than expected, that's lockdown for you, so I could justify a bit of a treat. I've got a voucher from Christmas 2019 for a facial at a local spa, I'm looking forward to that. It was supposed to run out in December but they have extended it due to lockdown. A bit of pampering would be nice.
My lesions are doing well, they are clearly burning off but not doing as much damage to surrounding skin as last time. It will be nice for the summer as I didn't like short sleeves that show the lesions.
It's nice here, not as nice as last weekend but dry and bright so I might try to get DH down to the beach. He has been in lots of pain this week, it is hard listening to him when he is trying to move and he calls out with the pain. I wish he'd take more morphine, this being brave lark is overrated if you ask me.7 -
That is true about the flat being open plan Chanie and Maman. I didn't even think of that, actually. My house is too open plan which annoys me.
I was talking to my husband last night and asking him if he would prefer to retire next year (and we could downsize to a cheaper flat) or get a house in our preferred area and he would have to work for five years. If it was me I would prefer to retire sooner! He isn't sure though. From the amount of Rightmove alerts I'm getting there are lots more homes coming on the market as the stamp duty holiday was extended.
I just ordered Tesco (which took ages for some reason as the website was being slow!) and did 20 more minutes on my trampoline. I listened to Cher Believe as it was on a music channel.
