Me too!I think it's the sunshine, n lighter nights, that have helped me a bit .I can't cope with Winter n darkness

Hi all, reading along as usual. I had a general tidy up and sort through of my make up and nail polish the other night. I threw out the old stuff and the things I didn't like/didn't use as they were the wrong colours - what was I keeping them for? 🤔 🤷‍♀️ 

I found a few things that I'd forgotten about so rearranged my little unit I keep on the bathroom shelf - it's clear with 3 drawers and I keep my daily use make up in there and skin care on top of it. So I have a few primers to use up, some highlighters and blushers to try and a couple of bronzers that I've never used. I don't really use bronzer as I feel like it makes me look orange 😳 but will give it a go in the summer months.

I also went through my dressing table drawer and took all my lipsticks and lip balms out. I put them in a make up bag each and have sat them on top of my chest of drawers  so that I see them every day and remember to use them. I have some lipsticks that I'm not sure suit my colouring so really should try them out at home.

I've been experimenting with concealers to try and cover up the massive dark circles under my eyes. I find it so difficult to get the right shade for my (very pale) skin, I threw out quite a few concealers in my tidy up. I have bought a colour corrector (Becca under eye brightener) to use under concealer and a Revolution under eye concealer as well so will see if that does anything to help me look less tired!

I went to meet my Great grandson Shylo today who was born yesterday at 2.19am weighing 6 pounds 8 ounces.  He is so handsome and cute. I held him for so long, my right arm ached but he gave me so much joy after all the sadness of the death of my granddaughter.

I missed a few days logging in and had to read 6 pages. My makeup use is nil - it is not worth it for me as have so many masks that you can barely see my eyes. It's harder to keep hydrated but I try and keep trying. 
I have no idea when vaccination will come from me-  my job might help within weeks but the rollout here is slow. Until then I am wearing a n95 and a surgical mask from the minute I leave my home until I get back. I have to protect myself and I just do what I can do. 

I have been a bit worried about my fat intake as I physically can not eat fat or oil. It causes me to projectile it out. It was bad enough to feel very dehydrated. I can tolerate chia seeds and linseed only. I can eat salmon but oily fish is hard to digest. I have to ask a dietician as I really need to have decent levels of fatty acids EPA and DHA but the supplements make me violently ill. 

The hands are going bad again, the skin is terribly dry. I totally need to increase the amount of hand cream. It seems as the weather goes terrible so goes the hands.
