I'll also say I'm feeling a bit more positive. Monday and Tuesday were pretty difficult as my children were playing up with the home learning. They have been better yesterday and today, but are still getting used to online learning, so they are playing up. On a more positive note, I was given a voucher from work for helping to co-ordinate covid processes. I wasn't expecting it, so its a welcome surprise. I'm going to put the money towards my designer bag, which I'm hoping to purchase in the spring, once we get out of lockdown. i6

MrsPorridge I think a mixup tea can be really nice, particularly with lots of veg.
Wednesday I'm glad the dog is on the mend.
Chanie how lovely to get the voucher and your bag is one step closer.
So glad we are all feeling a bit brighter today.5 -
Thanks Pixie.x
We finally got around to moving the furniture around from bedroom to bedroom. I need to think what type of storage I need to buy for the large open plan shelf as my bags, boots and random other things are just piled up on it. I will look on Amazon tomorrow. I think I need to declutter again and I need to start working through my toiletries to use products up.
I did throw away three pairs of knickers I never wear and I'm using an old t-shirt as a dog blanket and then will throw that away when it gets all manky from their fur.
I did a huge declutter when we were going to move 2015/2016 but clutter has crept in again since then. I did take lots of stuff to the dump in 2020 when it reopened but now I can't even think what it was I got rid of.
I might watch The Pembrokeshire Murders as so many of you liked the show.6 -
Good to hear people feeling more positive today. It must be hard for the children getting used to online learning chanie. just think of the mess so many adults have made of getting used to Zoom! 🤣
When I arranged my flowers yesterday, I was pleased to find that there were 12 long stemmed roses in the pack. That's quite unusuual these days, most are in bunches of 10. I don't think I''ve ever bought flowers in the Co-op before so I was particularly pleased with my YS treat. 😊
DH has almost finished the DIY. He's been repainting the fitted wardrobes in outr bedroom and replacing the door handles. I They're exactly the same off white colour so just looks a bit fresher. I did sort through the drawers but I've been so good doing MK on them that there was nothing in there that wasn't a keeper. They're not exactly drawers Wednesday but storage boxes on runners which are much easier to access/keep tidy. In the guest room wardrobe I've got the plain nylon boxes from Ikea

but as yours will be on an open shelf you probably want something nicer to look at.
I lked these in B&Q too. Lovely bright colours and good value but they don't have lids.

It's been horrible here today, so pleased we got out for a walk yesterday. It rained all morning and then turned cold and windly. definitely a day for staying in reading a book. 😊 I had a good pamper session this morning. I used a facial scrub (from a gift set) which left my skin feeling super clean. I don't think it's something I'd buy but I'm enjoying using these things up. I'm aiming to only have toiletries I really love but the mse in me makes me use up what I've got. 😉7 -
I have been experimenting with some food- using up the stuff I have in the cupboards. I made a lovely brown lentil and kale mix. I used frozen kale and a tin of lentils, a tablespoon of tomato puree, and a dash of spices. It honestly was so much nicer than it sounds. I was tempted to go to the shop today but drove home instead. Every cent saved is more useful to me!
There is little point in shopping at the minute as the empty shelves will depress me- online shopping in Tesco has loads of stuff not available and I hope supply chains get organized soon. I used to do a lot of online shopping and it's a real mess at the minute. I am afraid to purchase outside of the EU in case I get a massive customs fine. it's really limiting as all the trusted companies have to be ignored and trying to find new vendors. It feels like my shopping diet is more forced than self-imposed.

That sounds really healthy sft, but I'm sorry it's enforced rather than from choice. On the positive side it is saving you money to 'shop' from your own stores rather than buying.
I must admit that rather than use up stuff from my freezer and cupboards I'm shopping for what I can get while we can. There are gaps on the shelves but we're managing OK at the moment. 😊7 -
I didn't know there were shortages. I'm having all my shopping delivered so haven't seen what the shelves are like but only had a couple of substitutions on my delivery this week so assumed all was well. Is it Brexit or weather or pandemic or just a mixture?6

Working from my spare room again today (as I've done since mid-March) then tomorrow I'm off to Asda at 7am to pick up a few things & some fresh stuff after 10 days confined to the house. It was the "do not go to the letter box, do not go for a walk" bit that was most frustrating but the app said that's what I had to do. After that bit of excitement I will go for a long walk along the canal 😁.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I like the dark grey Ikea boxes in that link Maman. The shelf I have is an odd shape. I do have some plastic storage boxes outside that I forgot about to so I will check them later. I think they are too big though as we got them to transport my husband's vinyl when we were going to move before.
I'm about to have a bath and then go for a walk. We only have one dog treat left and my dogs are spoiled so I have to pop into the shop as well.I'm going to declutter my clothes etc... later and start making a bag for the chazzers when they reopen. I'm going to start using cream on my feet as well to use up some tubs of moisturiser I've had for absolutely ages!
