Yes chanie, I've narrowed down the products I use and, although some of them are quite pricey, I like them and they suit my skin. I just thought some of the products in the article were cheap enough to try. 🤔
I do wear occasional brights Mrs Porridge , but I feel more comfortable and confident in neutrals including black and grey! 🤣 I do like olive green LL. Years ago when Wallis sold really good clothes I had a mix and match set of an olive green cardigan, batwing jumper, woolly pencil skirt and a long, pleated silky skirt. I've still got the silky skirt and love it. I've been able to replace the cardigan and jumper as the colour has come back in fashion. My favourite is a boxy fine knit jumper from Zara that came from the CS.6 -
Maman some interesting looking products there I love Hyaluronic Acid, have been using it for quite a few years now, I tried a Rohto Hadalbo one, it was very good and will get more when I have used what I have. More recently I have been using a serum, it does need to be on damp skin, a hydrating toner spritzed just before or after, then my moisturiser. In spite of all my ailments and the resultant loss of weight my skin has stayed really bouncy and hydrated and I need very little moisturiser.
My skin care guru Caroline Hirons recommends the Curel products and they are supposed to be good for sensitive skin and not expensive I believe.
LL great point regarding routine, I really need to work hard on re-establishing some in many aspects of my life, now is almost solely home based.

Good to hear from you maddie.😊
So pleased with my YS roses. They're still looking good since I got them on Wednesday.

Lovely flowers, Maman.Good morning lovely ladies.Up early, quick supermarket run. Now just resting with second breakfast.Well it's back on the WW for me. target 1.5 stones by July. 6 months, should be doable. I look ok but I could look better. And probably feel better too. I haven't regained all the weight I originally lost but it's creeping up so time to nip it in the bud.
Bought another long sleeve thermal vest, some nail varnish and some micellar water whilst out, other than that it was all food and a couple kitchen bits. Could my life be any less rock and roll at the moment. 😂🤣
I am so looking forward to finally breaking free and getting out more later in the year. In the meantime I have finished my two week isolation so met with my family bubble yesterday. It was lovely.A bit of pottering today, will cook a roast, and just generally take it easy.Have a great day y'all. Keep fabbing.8 -
Chanie - I still like X-files. I watched a couple of episodes a few weeks ago.
It's absolutely gorgeous weather here. It feels like Spring after it was so cold. My storage boxes arrived yesterday so I reorganised some of my stuff. I found the colouring book I bought and forgot about so I am about to colour in a picture of an owl.I tried on a black pencil skirt I also forgot I had and it fits me now, it was too tight before so I wore it for my walk.
I'm going to read a few more chapters of my current book afterwards as I found another book to add to my list to read. It's a Gary Numan autobiography. I went to see him live back in October 2019 before all this happened.

A bit warmer here. making sure I put plenty of nivea lip balm on, my lips are really dry with the cold weather. I am still on Ann with an E, but only about 4 episodes left. I finished reading Cilka's journey last week, my Daugther had recommended it as follow up to Tattoist of Auschwitz. I have just started reading Jane McDonald's autobiography.Had a short walk this morning and my Daughter (my support bubble) is coming for tea tonight.Enjoy your day everyone9

I make inroads on walking today on walking for an hour and used the UV lightbox while putting on the makeup. Unfortunately, one side of the face was better illuminated so the eye shadow was blended better to one side.
Each day one more positive thing is better to do.8 -
Well done sft, great idea to set yourself challenges and build on them. 😊
We went for a walk today as the forecast is horrible for the next few days. We went into the city centre (less than 3 miles so counts as local 🤔). I find it fascinating to be in the city with no shops and restaurants open. The old city is lovely too, plenty of peace to 'stand and stare'.
Other than that I've just pottered about. Just about to enjoy a Sunday roast. 😋8 -
maman 3 miles is a decent distance to walk isn’t it? A good level of exercise but not too far.
sheila I read Cilka Journey as it was on my library app. I enjoyed it, as it wasn’t a typical Holocaust story and shows that things aren’t always black or white.
wednesday the X-files was my favourite TV show when it was on in the 1990s. I loved the stand alone episodes best, but like many shows, I think it went on for too long and lost its way.
One of my targets for this year was to support foodbanks more and I made my first donation this weekend. I had a voucher for Lidl and bought various items, including cleaning products, food and toiletries. My other target is the Christmas toy appeal and I have a big shopping bag which im going to fill up. I already have a few items, but I have all year!!6
