I'm reading a good book right now about social anxiety as I do feel anxious about meeting up with new people again. It's called How to Be Yourself.
I just went to drop off the donation bag and looked around a few charity shops but I couldn't see anything at all. I find it hard buying t-shirt type tops I like for some reason.
I didn't use that crystal nail file yet so I'm about to try it out. I want to redo the nail varnish on my toes later as it has chipped a bit. I'm going to put on heel balm tonight too. I got a text today to remind me about my jab on Monday morning. It will be good to get it over and done with.5 -

Hello Ladies,
I read every day. I simply could not be happy without reading every day. I have just finished Caroline Flack's autobiography 'Storm In A C Cup', which I really enjoyed. It is so sad that she is no longer here.
I have finally got my appointment with King's Dental Institute to have my tooth extracted on Wednesday morning, after a 2 year wait because of the pandemic. I am going to be sedated, so my younger daughter has to come with me, stay with me and escort me home. I was told to expect to be fit for nothing for 2 - 7 days. I will not be able to eat solid food for a few days.5 -
sugar good luck with your dental procedure.
I feel like summer is finally here! Lovely weather today and I got to wear a summer dress for the first time this year. I’m back in the office tomorrow, but luckily, it’s only for a day and the rest of the week will be at home. DM wants to take me and Dsis to a spa and I’ve been tasked with finding a spa deal. It will be lovely to have a bit more pampering and go for a swim.6 -
Had a busy weekend with a houseful. I've had an accident, got a bad burn to my right hand. It is very painful and makes typing hard. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself if I'm honest. My son, a nurse has had a look and says I need to see a doctor so I need to sort that today.
Hope the dentist goes well Sugarbaby.
Good luck with the spa deal Chanie, that will be really nice for the three of you.5 -
Pixie, I am sorry to hear about your burn. I hope your Doctor provides you with an effective painkiller and something to aid the healing of your burn. Take it easy.2

That sounds like a problem tooth if it has to be done at the hospital sugarbaby. Glad you've managed to get the appointment at last though.
Ouch to the burn pixie. Let us know what the GP says.
Hopefully you'll be lucky with Groupon finding a spa treatment chanie.
We had a lovely walk in the sunshine this morning all around the University campus which has beautiful grounds.
Our new house number arrived at last and DH put it up yesterday along with a new lamp. Just need to repaint the door bell. So pleased we had outside decorated. 😊

Hello Ladies,
Maman, the tooth was not a problem, until a dentist cracked the tooth in 2, filled it and did not admit her error. Over the years, the filling fell out more than once. I switched to another NHS dental practice, as I was so unhappy and then my new dentist tried to save the tooth until it was obvious it could not be saved. I was referred to another NHS dental practice for extraction, only to arrive there and find out that they were unable to do sedation. I then had to be referred for extraction to King's Dental Institute. Then the pandemic put my extraction on hold.
The roots of my tooth are very long and healthy, so extraction is not going to be a speedy operation. This really surprised the dental consultant as he was expecting the roots to be decayed.

What a shame the tooth was so damaged that it couldn't be saved and all because of errors. ☹️ I do hope the procedure goes well for you.
We called into the little Coop while we were out and I picked up some YS roses for £3 instead of £5. I think they're good value even at full price for 12 long stemmed roses. Not many places sell 12 in a bunch any more.

Lovely flowers!
Hello Ladies.
There are too many posts to respond to as I'm feeling a bit woozy as I am taking some anticonvulsants after my Covid jab as I felt pains for a while after I had it done yesterday.
I feel okay today and also the great news is that my husband got the all clear from his cancer checkup! He only has to be checked once a year now.
We are now thinking about moving house as soon as we can find somewhere we like. We have to do a lot of things before we move. I was reading the 25 step process of selling your home on MSE. Yikes.
I am mostly staying in for two weeks after the jab and am not drinking any wine and taking vitamins and having lots of fruit and veg and drinking tons of water. The nurse told me it was important to hydrate after the jab. Something to do with the cells in your body and the vaccine?
I have some social plans later this month, though. One day we are dropping off our dogs for boarding and then getting an estate agent round for a house valuation. Then we are going to the coast for the day to where we want to move to look around again. I have booked a restaurant there in the afternoon and then we have to come home for an online concert we booked as well. I have the 80th birthday meal too at the end of the month and the night before I am hopefully going to the cinema and then to a local restaurant I haven't been to before.
Life suddenly feels very busy!
