Yes, I watched LOD. I'll wait and see but not that impressed with the start. I thought that new woman officer in charge of the operation seems quite weak. Perhaps she has hidden talents. 🤔
I had to queue and book for the first time at the London Eye when it was a new thing. Since then we've just walked up and jumped on. 😊

I wish I had bothered to go to the London Eye while I had the chance. I had the opportunity through work a few times.
Floss - I wonder if the concerts this year are going to take place. Three of mine have been pushed back to next year. There another two still scheduled for the autumn but I can't see them going ahead. One is at the O2.
It's a gorgeous day here.I'm actually going to go out wearing sandals. I used my new Living Proof conditioner and then hair oil. I used my Garnier lemongrass face wash and the lavender moisturiser. I am wearing my bright pink jumper, makeup, earrings and a necklace. Perfume too.
I need to colour my husband's hair when I get home. It looks awful as his hair is dark so the roots show through very clearly.4 -

Wow Wednesday, you really have made a fab effort this morning. 😊 It's glorious here too. It's so much better than grey skies.
My DH has really thick hair and it's all over the place. Last week I gave him a hairclip to keep it out of his eyes. 🤣 I have offered to trim it for him but he really doesn't want to know. It's 3 weeks today when hairdressers are meant to open .He'll be looking like the Dulux dog by then.
I've got lots that I could do today (including ironing!) but not sure that any of it appeals. 🤔5 -
If anyone is going to Blackpool when the lights are on, a great way to see them is from the big wheel on Central Pier 😉😁2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello Ladies,
Lambeth Council has come up trumps again. Not only are they not increasing Council Tax for the April 2021 to April 2022 year, but they are giving me another Council Tax Discretionary Hardship payment for that year.I am so relieved, as this is usually quite a large monthly payment for 10 months of the year and I will be paying less than 50% of the amount I had to pay last year.
Lambeth Council has really tried to Financially support it's residents who are on low incomes, throughout this Pandemic and I just so grateful and appreciative of receiving financial support with my Council Tax.5 -
Maman if your husband is a Line of Duty fan do tell him there is a brilliant Beginner's Guide to Line of Duty on the BBC website. Sums up series 1 to 5 in just under 6 minutes and is really funny. I really enjoyed it.5

I do worry about "isms" on LOD. The crooked police seem to be disproportionately female or black or both. The Caddy being the big exception but by series 3 I was getting a bit concerned about it. Bit more balance in later series with The Caddy and the Liverpudlian undercover guy who went wrong somewhere.
I still love Ted, although I do wonder if an English audience can always work out what he is on about.
I had to go to the pharmacy today so decided to go to the one in Sainsbury's, haven't been there since last year and I bought myself some treats.
Lambeth sound like they are doing well, we seem to have had almost 10% increase in council tax, I'm not sure of the breakdown but the bottom line is just a smidge under 10%. I think that is more than my state pension increase, water/gas/electric direct debits going up as well.5 -
My council tax has gone up a bit this year. I got a letter about it the other day.
I think I was a bit too enthusiastic wearing sandals today as my feet felt really cold on the way home. I didn't bother to walk to Superdrug. I was really happy to have a hot cup of tea when I got in. It's sunny but not particularly warm. I'm going to order from Superdrug instead of going into a store. I forgot to buy loo and kitchen rolls while I was out so I have just ordered a bulk load from Amazon. I also got a replacement umbrella as my leopard print one broke the other week.
I did notice the difference in my feet this time as they feel as if they are much lighter and I'm going to get them done every three months from now on. The chiropodist said that they don't do anything like nail varnish there but said there was a nail salon nearby so next time I will go to the chiropodist first and then the salon afterwards. She said if I got them done not to get gels as they ruin your nails, just to get varnish.
Because it's sunny I walked past people exercising in the park. Quite a few people were jogging and two women were using a skipping rope. I couldn't help noticing that they were all older than me so it made me think about doing more exercise apart from walking. I haven't even used my rebounder in a while.
