Enjoy your day, and you will be fine on the flight and will fit (bottoms are amazingly pliable squeezing into seats I've found). Have a lovely holiday 😊.

    Thank you DFW.

I am sitting here wasting time that I dont have. Bags need packing, paperwork needs double checking, house needs cleaning, taxi needs adjusting (lots of people advising to make it slightly earlier, just to be on the safe side so need to do this). I need a shower first but lacking the get up and go currently. Everyone else is still asleep so just trying to enjoy some quiet time, but knowing I have lots to do today.

I am also dreaming over a house that is for sale and ticks most of the boxes. Slightly above price bracket but you never know. Maybe I shouldn't give up quite yet. I've told my agent that I am not available for house viewings this week so maybe there will be a line of them waiting for when I get back. Maybe it would still be possible to move in the summer holidays?

Right I best wake the children and have my shower. Lots to do and need to be in bed early ready for leaving at silly o'clock tomorrow morning.

And we are home. The weather could have been better but we had some sunshine and warmth for some of the time, which is better than nothing at all. Think mum enjoyed having us there, but imagine she is enjoying the peace and quiet now.

Got the first load of washing in the machine and were having pasta with a jar of sauce tonight, so nothing strenuous there. Going to catch up on diaries and chill before getting back to normal tomorrow.

Love my comfy sofa and am looking forward to getting into my squidgy bed tonight.
