Well I have put my big girls pants on and am just going to get on with life, and hope we have some better luck with future viewings.

I booked my MOT but have still not booked the shopping, so may end up doing an in person one locally. Will try tonight online, but if needed I will wake up bright and early tomorrow.

Another week done at school and only 2 to go before the Easter break. This half term is flying by and seems so very short compared to the others. It also means our trip away is very close too, and while flights and tickets and insurance has been sorted, I have no idea what I will be packing or how we will get to the airport and home.

DD2 and DS both had their trip to the new NHS dentist and both came away happy and almost enjoyed the experience (first time ever). Next appointments are in the diary ready and my Dad seemed happy not having to pay a bill for the appointments. Will keep my eyes open for when they open their books for adults so DD1 can be added on.

We are currently waiting for a plumber to arrange to come and replace our flush as the upstairs toilet is not behaving itself. I have had to turn the water off on it as it was just pouring through and we already knew that it was a little dodgy from before. The plumber had bought the part, but we kept missing each other and never quite arranged a time to mend. It is obviously now needed so need to keep on trying to find a date were both here. Next week I expect to be doing full days as one of the ladies is on her first air training most of the week, so I will be covering her too.

Tonight is chicken curry and naan bread for dinner. Really looking forward to it, just not the cooking of it. Oh well tummy is rumbling so I better get going.

The cats woke me early so I am up and sitting here waiting for the water to warm up before I have a shower and start my day. No one else is awake so it is lovely and quiet. It looks like it might be sunny so I am going to try to get some washing on the line for the first time this year.

We need to go to town to print some pictures off at the library as my printer isn't that great anymore, and I need to sort the entry fee for a tournament out, but the rest of the weekend will be pootling around the house sorting a few things, researching a few things, cleaning a little and relaxing.

I need DS to try on his summer shorts so I can see if we need to order anything else before the holidays too.

Yesterday the benefits people told me I had been over paid by almost £500. This is for the period that I have already been audited twice before, and then told all was ok. I am not happy and am ready to say keep your money and to just be poor and stay where I am. I am waiting for someone to call me back with a breakdown of what was wrong as the gentleman that I called could not see anything on my account about an over payment, other than the letter. 24hrs on and still no idea or call.

The today I get a call saying I have another viewing - yay. Fingers crossed I can get it all cleaned in time as we have club that I cant miss this evening and work in the morning. I will have about 10 min once I get home to straighten things up tomorrow.

Please all keep your fingers crossed that the viewing goes well and we can then go from there. At least the sun is shining.

Fingers are crossed 🤞🏻!! Let us know how it goes. And don't worry about a mess. You should have seen the state of this house every time we viewed it and it didn't put us off (we're a bit mad like that though lol) x

Thank you @beanielou. Well they have been and gone and I don't think we will hear much back from them again. The lady was quite keen but her partner clearly needs a bungalow and was struggling with the stairs and doorways. Never mind we have a cleanish house for a few more hours at least, and the sunshine is lovely.

I have put some washing on the line and another load is in the wash now. Hopefully that will be dry by tonight. Still no news on the benefits over payment. I submitted the bank account details last night for this month so I guess in a few days time I will see how much they are taking from me each month.

Food shop has been delivered and put away. He offered to come early but we were about to show the people round so declined. Nothing much planned for tonight so a nice easy one hopefully.

Feedback already, lovely location, lovely house but the layout isn't right for them. I said that we had already figured that. Stairlifts were mentioned but we are on a slope so even walking to the front door was a struggle.

Easy dinner tonight of jacket potatoes as we are all exhausted. A very early night required for all.
