Thank you @Humdinger1 I am feeling much better but still sore. At least I am able to get a decent nights sleep now though and mainly only ache when I get out of bed or try to move heavy things without thinking, but then that isn't good for anyone. Still loving being shut back in our garden and have been out weeding this week.
Good news is we have another viewing on Saturday, hopefully the one or the start of many more frequent ones to come. This is a couple of first time buyers that seem to be looking at anything within their price range. Honestly I am not that hopeful, but you never know and I will clean as much as I always do in the hope that this is the house that they prefer. My friend has just accepted an offer this week on her house after being on the market for around a year like me, so there is hope. There have also been several more added to the list of potential ones for us, although not the perfect one as yet.
DS's passport arrived this morning so we have all of the documentation that we need for our visit to see Mum. Now to start saving some spending money.

Thank you Jessy, I am getting there with the cleaning and have managed to complete a few of the tasks that I noticed last time when we only had just over an hour before they turned up. This time those niggly bits have been done. I think the majority will get done tomorrow if I am honest, as it means not too much can be made messy again. I need to get a few bunches of flowers to make the place look nice and it will be shop bought pizza for dinner as they don't make too much mess to clear up and are not stinky.
Really hoping the weather is like today and we can open windows for free warmth, light and fresh air. These sunny days really do give me more motivation to get moving.

Bathrooms completed, bedrooms and living room tidy. I will hoover the bedrooms and stairs in the morning and finish the kitchen. I need to stop now and complete the food shop that is due tomorrow, otherwise we will have no meals and lots of random items I put in the basket just so I could secure my delivery.
Fingers crossed I get everything done in time and the sun shines even if only while they are here. Also that they like the house and put an offer in - even if it is a ridiculous one lol

Well all done and dusted and the agent got us a 2nd person for straight after the first. It is a good job as the original people were only here for 7 min. I realise that my house isn't very big but they just rushed through as if they didn't really want to be here. I doubt we will get a sale from them.
The second viewers were a dad and his 2 youngish children. One preferred the house she had just seen but the Dad was having a very good look and you could see that he was considering things a lot. They were here for a good while. He is going to speak to his wife, who was working and discuss perhaps coming for a second look. They are hoping for a no chain sale though which I think will be tough to find. The townhouse we looked at would mean no chain but still not 100%, but then I don't think I will get everything on my list of wants, and I need to think what I will be prepared to compromise on.
Even if no sale we have a clean home and I have nothing much else to do for the rest of the day, other than put the shopping away when it arrives, and to cook dinner. Feeling like jacket potatoes today so would be an easy dinner. Off to revisit rightmove in case I have missed any potential houses.

I hope you get an offer soon slm 🤞🏻 then you can start looking forward to breaking ties with that one and ex. It is coming up to the time of year now where people with kids will start looking so I'm sure you'll get an offer soon 🤞🏻🙂!

Thank you DFW, it will indeed just be the final link with ex (other than the children and I am keeping them lol). It would be lovely to be somewhere new by the summer holidays

No news as yet from either viewing, but I am off to see a potential house in the right location this lunchtime. While it doesn't tick all the boxes, I don't think my budget will allow for everything, so it is a case of what is the most important, and at the moment I am not sure lol. There is a 2nd house I am also waiting to see but the agent doesn't have the keys as yet.
I don't have to go to work today as I am on my wellbeing day. I have taken DD2 to school but she will walk home. I have the house to myself on this very rare occasion. No plans other than relaxing and maybe some washing to keep up to date. We have club later so I might cook dinner so it will just need reheating later on.

Heading up to bed in a minute but feeling glum as the viewing that sounded positive isn't interested. His reason was that there is too much work needed to make it how they would like it. Now thinking the only way I will sell this place is to do the kitchen up or I will be stuck here forever. If I lower the price we cant afford anything else, and we are at the bottom of the list anyway for our size and type of house. Maybe tomorrow we will have more luck.
DD2 has the dentist tomorrow so we will need to rush home and back into town quickly to make the appointment. DS has his the following day. Fingers crossed they get on ok as this will make things a little cheaper as they are a NHS dentist rather than a private one that my dad has been paying for.
I need to book my MOT tomorrow and also the food shop ready for the weekend. Must not forget to do this.
Anyway 2 more mornings at work and then it's the weekend. I am hoping for some sunshine to help brighten my mood and to be able to dry the washing outside would be great. Not long until summer :)
