  • Morning all,

I planned to get some stuff crossed off my to do list today but all that is on my mind is waiting for the outcome of ds2 most recent diagnosis, I'm literally waiting for the phone call I hope they let us know this week. I just need to get this bit over with so I feel we can deal with it and move on and know how best to continue to support him. It's stressing me out and making me anxious.

So this morning before work I'm just going to do what I can while being kind to myself. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say.

I'll let you know if I hear anything In the meantime I Need to take care of myself so I can take care of everyone else.

    Morning my beautiful diary friends
I hope you are all well. Hugs to those that need one..

    Thankyou @Four_Seasons

Still no phone call. I had a headache all day yesterday that just wouldn't shift despite trying everything.

I should get my owed holiday paid into this months pay. So that will go streight to the debt if it does.

Still Plodding along. The bread we got on Monday has gone mouldy already so I'll need to get some more today. I've changed the kids snacks after school to cheaper alternatives they are no longer allowed the nice snacks we buy for there lunch treat as snacks at home.

I'll make some popcorn today. Might make some more cakes too as I have all the ingredients. But first I need to tidy and hoover etc. They have club after school so will do a simple dinner.

Will let you know how we get on.

I just had a thought i wonder if I have crackers in the cupboard that dd can have tomorrow In her lunch, she doesn't like stuff in sandwiches so just has butter and when I made the sandwiches earlier in the week for the freezer I forgot to do plain ones 😅 or she could take pasta or a little rice dish instead. I'll have a think and see what she wants 😏

Quote of the day - by me.

    Some are more fragile,
    But they are all beautiful.

Good afternoon my beautiful diary friends,
I hope you are all well. Hugs to those that need and want one..

Today the 6 year fight for ds2 diagnosis is finally over.

What we always thought and what we knew was correct. I'm just glad I always followed my instincts and didn't give up on getting a diagnosis. His original diagnosis is no longer included.

    Onwards and upwards. ❤

Thankyou. I've known the one diagnosis since he was about 18 months if not earlier, just needed them to officially diagnose.  The other was something I hadn't really considered until his teacher mentioned it about 6 months ago and his 3rd diagnosis is basically an updated version of his original diagnosis at 2.

Now it's been a few hours since being told. I'm definitely feeling more fragile than I was. But glad to finally have the diagnosis.

    Quote for today

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you—this is the Lord’s declaration—plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

I know its a religious quote but it has really meaning for me, especially today. Years ago when ds2 had his first few diagnosis' I remember telling my nana and she got really upset and I told her God wouldn't give me more than I could handle. And to this day I've believed this.

  • Morning all hope you are well.

I've had to call in sick for work. I've some how pulled my hernia. I'll be glad when I can finally have it operated on.
So lost a shifts pay, but I'm in absolute agony so there is no way I could of gone in.

I've dropped dp off with the two little ones to a birthday party. Will have to go and get them again shortly but there was no way I'd of been able to stand around.

I'll try and get some stiff sold this week to make up the loss In Wages.

Not alot else to report. Went to aldi the other day picked up some fresh bits we needed not sure how much it came to and I've lost the receipt. But it wasn't much.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday

    Hello my beautiful diary friends,
I hope you are all well.

Not alot to update or report.
Filled the car up today I think it was about £60 i will update the amount once the payment has cleared on my account.

Have work this afternoon. And tomorrow and then the rest of the week off which is nice.

Car goes in for mot on Thursday. Hope it passes.

Nothing to really report . Still Plodding along.

I Need to phone the housing association this week and find out the actual remaining balance.
Will also phone the bank closer to July to ask for a settlement figure for the loan.

I really need to get the house sorted this week. I want it up to standard by the weekend so that we just have too keep on top of it going forward and I can slowly start decluttering it and organising it properly. It's getting there slowly

    Morning my beautiful diary friends

Dropped the car of for its mot ... I hope it passes 🤞🤞

I'm off work now till Monday afternoon, just how my shifts fell. They are short staffed and I could pick up extra but I decided I didn't want to pick any extra up this week.

Pay day today so I've put the money up for next month's outgoings ready for the first of the month. And I've made an extra payment to the loan.

I've done some calculations and if we use what we have in savings and with what we should have left over at the end of each month, as long as nothing unexpected crops up, we will be debt free by the end of July.

Then we can rebuild our emergency fund to 3 months outgoings, start overpaying the mortgage, and get some repairs done around the house that need doing.

DD has covid so all 3 of the kids are off isolating.
