Just on my break at work.

    Car cost £320

I've covered 200 with overtime I have this month.

Going to list some stuff forsale tomorrow morning to try and get back some of the cost.

Will try and get out the house In the morning before work. My mental health needs a good bit of fresh air.

I bet it's still good to have the car back despite what it cost. I feel a bit trapped if I don't have mine - it's such a palaver to get anywhere or do anything without it.

I’m with cranky, I feel quite panicky without mine. It’s such a relief for you to have it back.

  • Thank you @CRANKY40 & @WinterWarrior yes due to lack of mobility I rely heavily on my car, I haven't been anywhere since Friday morning apart from work so relieved to have it back that's for sure!

I can't believe how quick the summer holidays have gone. I'm not worried we will just carry on doing things on my days off for the rest of the year.

I really.need to find more motivation from somewhere. 🙄

I'm going to aim to sell as much as possible over the next week and just get the house in a good way. - more organised give everything its place.

We didn't get to the park this morning  as it was pouring down. Hopefully tomorrow

I've definitely hit abit of a low point again.

So from tomorrow I'm going to list everything I do even the small things.. it might even help others to see all those little things are just as important ❤

Off to work shortly .. take care all

  • Morning all.

Haven't done much this morning. I had to stay late at work. Got back at 1.30am so DP left me in bed until not long ago.

Nothing to report money wise as haven't spent anything today or yesterday..

DP took the kids on a nice long walk yesterday.

Frugal thing I did today and i do regularly, I used less washing powder than recommended.

I asked my manager for set days the other week..she said yes and then when i reminded her she said no. I gave 6 weeks notice and told her they could pick the days but I really need them set due to my health. Not sure if I should contact my union for advice on this.

Anyway have a lovely day everyone

Do you have an HR department? My large company is very big on disability and inclusion right now and would definitely want to accommodate you, I expect yours will be the same. On a lower level your manager may be only thinking of the inconvenience of set days, but from an HR point of view I think they’d want to help. It’s worth a try.

I don't but if I have no luck with the manager when the rotas go up I'll speak to the owner. Failing that I'll see if my union can help.
