Right then !
Was told that Doctor would ring between 10.30 and 1.30...........so he phoned at 2 !
Seeing him Thursday morning as I have been having chest pains/headaches as well. But he doesn't think there is anything wrong with my heart so am not going to worry. We are also going to talk about constant pains in my hip. Finally. So am relieved as the sciatica is painful enough.
Thank you for all birthday wishes, has filled my day with happiness. Really.
Love
bala

Getting thrifty as a sciatica veteran of many years my top tip is to lean over a table, feet on the floor, body on the table. Also if you can, sit on knees and bend foward, arch your back like a cat whilst trying to touch your knees with your head. Bit yogaesque that one!

Still getting nowhere, spent half the morning trying to return a laptop to hot and spicys, lol, everything takes so long virtually, they were quick enough when I bought it, collecting between 9 am- 5 pm Thursday, other half morning answering the door to deliveries, and disposing of wrappings, should be glad I suppose they all came today.Do I need it or just want it.9

Happy birthday BALA
your flowers sound beautiful.
So a good day so far - we have got rid of a bundle on fb yay so 30 (ish) items left the house - doorstep collection, masks, hand gel antbac wipes etc, etc. We almost sold the old TV but that fb buyer hasn't/didn't turned up, never mind.
The pups have been bathed/showered so we are eau de wet dog at the moment 😩
Changed the bed so now have rounds of washing to do tomorrow.
I can't seem to part with the old towels and bedding we have as I guess it's useful cut up for cloths, dustsheets, dog towels but I will try my best to minimise these tomorrow.
No idea what's for tea(!)

38. Small jar candle finished-recycling
39. Bronzing body lotion that looks awful-recycling
40. Toilet duck of DDs from uni, finished-recycling.
Not only am I sorting/using up bits of DDs but also doing the same with DMs stuff but once used up, they are out and apart from the bronzing lotion I don’t feel like I have just discarded stuff. Tried to be MSEDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evening MrsSD and fellow declutterers,
Happy birthday Bala 🙂
Thank you for your kind words @Jacwins on my wife. Struggling again today with tiredness and ability to concentrate. It took a lot of effort for her to set the bread maker going.
Thank you MrsSD for the hug 🤗 will speak to my wife and I'm sure she will accept it.
Bits & pieces from decluttering today. Day 2 of the attic sort out. A bit of cardboard thrown out along with a my little pony annual from 2017 minus some stickers. I have another start point now for tidying up the sizeable amount of clutter which is taking up the middle of the attic.
Downstairs, decluttered a shelf in dining room. Threw out gardening seeds (sunflower, cress) with best before dates in 2013. I don't think they will germinate now 😄 I would have used them definitely if I was 'green fingered' eight years ago like I am now. Looking forward to planting things again. Also threw away some old birthday and anniversary cards. Daughter decluttered marshmallows while home schooling with me 😉. I have decluttered some of the baking cupboard by baking another Yorkshire Parkin 😄 feel as though I'm on autopilot at the moment. Let's crack on and see where it takes us, cheers 🙂
Ps: MrsSD - the address of the haggis passed me by 🙂 it tasted good though.13 -
The Skip is here, the skip is here
It now has a kitchen in it, appliances, two bar stools, a sandpit, a sofa and some old carpet. I also put two binbags in there full of old rubbish. Tomorrow I will add three pieces of worktop, four big boxes that are housing the new bar stools.
I've also decluttered a huge chocolate bar and have donated my pots and pans to my work place who don't have that many decent ones and really could do with them.
