I decluttered 2 leeks and half a red onion into soup yesterday, with some spuds, it was enough for two of us. Also, some more books went into the charity bag, so I'm plodding on in a small way.
It's not belated, it's today.......................AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo
According to a lovely poster I am Bala the Brave who wrestled a Tiger. You know who you are.....

Happy birthday Bala xx
I've got rid of a few more Ebay parcels, still some more to list & some for Fb too. Charity shop pile is slowly growing as I work my way through my wardrobes and try everything on. A lot is from chazzer or Ebay buying & I need to reduce the c/c balance which has built as a result. Still, at least the requests to fund my divorce solicitor's retirement have stopped now along with the pension transfer emails, I'm just left with paying it all off.

Happy birthday Bala!
Reporting on the Minimalists' Challenge for days 23, 24, 25 and 26. This definitely feels like a cheat because only 2 of the items are strictly mine, but I have spent the weekend sorting out an inordinate number of socks for the under 3s. Worn out ones to recycling (plus a pair of mine), some into store for DS2, and some for redistribution. I have also sorted out the 0-3 month clothes for people who will use them, and the total, plus a pink fluffy pencil case to the CS bag, is exactly 100. On the one hand, not really decluttering my own stuff, on the other hand definitely things that need to go from the house.
Total= 351/465
I can't believe there are only 4 days to go of this now (=114 items). I have listed a bunch of stuff on ebay but that won't be recorded until day 31 so I have made a tactical error there! Also decluttered a tree from the garden yesterday so that we can mend the fence...13 -
Happy birthday bala !

Progress slow - have sciatica so trying to balance jobs..at top of the hour evey hour i shall potter and do a few jobs then back to my stretches and resting ..not had it before so hope it will be decluttered soon 😂11 -
Happy Birthday Bala xxxx You have inspired me to phone my dentist.
Getting thrifty as a sciatica veteran of many years my top tip is to lean over a table, feet on the floor, body on the table. Also if you can, sit on knees and bend foward, arch your back like a cat whilst trying to touch your knees with your head. Bit yogaesque that one!

Happy Birthday Bala! Hope wife feels more energised soon Leelad, it's the exhaustion that seems to hit lots of people with covid.
We have just been given our rapid flow test box for work, I need to do my first test tonight so wish me luck *gag*
Week 5 25 - 31/1 emails to be under 11000 this week - I do unsubscribe to emails as well, but the competitions create a lot of emails. Unfortunately, today, I have decluttered the podiatrist (not literally, she is still alive). They said there is nothing else they can do for me and I will always have the nerve damage in my foot. I'm in my 40s and balled my eyes out, having to come to terms with this. For all you clumsy ones, learn from me, do not fall into a wall and damage your foot!
I tried to declutter odd socks pile this week, but DD won't part with her odd socks! She has taken them into her sock drawer, so at least they aren't on my floor anymore.
Thomas track that was on fb market place has sold and been picked up. I'm still unsure about this, but so many people are struggling with affording to buy presents and we donned masks and washed hands lots.
Finally finished a shower gel that I didn't like - it's been shoved to the back of the shelf for a while. Used it up as shaving gel on my legs!
HP sauce decluttered from shopping list, as I found one in the cupboard of doom. DH is not good at looking and would just buy another.
Slightly mushy blueberries made into muffins, so didn't go to waste.
Not bad as it's only Tuesday. Bag of attention toys will go to work tomorrow.Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes
Play room - 41/52, last item -
Clothes - 23/52, last item -
Food - 13/52, last item -13 -
Happy birthday Bala Hope its a good one.
Vulpix I have my husband also hoying stuff around. Its great to have an assistant
Mothernerd I lurked for ages and actually enjoyed reading everyone's achievements but the best place is here when things are getting on top of you. There is no pressure, only support
No decluttering today. Just looking for some paperwork I tidied away a few weeks agoI need it because its for my pension and needs to be sent in. I put it somewhere 'safe'.

Happy birthday Bala
Decluttered a pair of socks I don't like and they are too big also. Also 3 balls of wool from the bag they are going into a simple blanket, I have 2 of them on the go for some reason. They will at some point go to either a young person or homeless charity/support group. Just looking round the room I really need to declutter the living room floor of the dogs toys and hair
Items got sorted for selling ont'ebay and were listed finally last night. (sat in a open area in the back bedroom, poised)
decluttered paperwork and receipts sat on top of the shredder into it. (This is normal a slight delay, just in case)

Wow you sure do move quick around here. Items 128-129 were each a pair of tights that were more than a little threadbare! Into the rag bag they go. Not really had a chance to do much decluttering - the spare room is calling to me as are the kitchen cupboards but work stuff is getting in the way. Will try and make some progress this weekend though!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 201712
