Evening MrsSD and fellow declutterers, well it's been a tough 36 hours here. My wife has been tested positive for Covid, no symptoms yet, she works as an agency nurse, so she has to test weekly. So am having to self isolate until (all being well) 2nd Feb when I can then go back to work. Me & my daughter got tested yesterday and thankfully we are both negative. So tough day today decluttering for part of the day and trying to keep active while waiting for the test results to come through. The cupboard underneath the sink has been decluttered, thrown out Milton cleaning wipes (dried out) and a bottle of window cleaner (after I had used the last of it cleaning the windows in the house) hopefully the self isolation will encourage me to declutter the attic and our daughters bedroom, it's mind over matter is this, so I & we need to stay focused. Our daughters home schooling will help and hopefully a cleaner & tidier house before we both go back to work. Let's see, cheers 🙂9

Leelad - sorry to hear about your wife... hope she recovers quickly and you and your daughter stay safe.
So much decluttering going on. - items back to shops that I don't want 161 - 165
166 balsamic vinegar use by 18th tasted ok in recipe today but thought once open should be binned
167 - 168 shampoo and conditioner sachets used up
169 ood food out
Just cleaned floors, and tidied up. Hoping (or DD2 is) that we get a second cat (rescue about 3/4yrs old) so I've decided have to be tidier /more organised so will have clear out tomorrow hopefully.
Ideas please - Made more soup today - made double quantities as DD seems to like soups I've been making and they last no time. Double quantities and she doesn't like it! quite bland carrot and sweet potato soup - any ideas what I can add and whizz up again?
Will try and catch up on more of the posts as like to read what's going on. Take care x8 -
Week 4 18-24/1 Emails inbox started at 15000 at the beginning of the year. I have set myself a target of getting this down at least 1000 a week (I get 100s a day). So week 4 target under 12000 currently 101423 very brown bananas decluttered into a banana bread and eaten. Husband brought some bags down from the loft and I found a bag of age 4-5 knickers and pants. They have been up there 10 years! School have taken them for reception if there are accidents. We have been asked if we have any reaction toys for a group, so currently have a bag of 6 items but will keep looking and count these next week when they go out the house.Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes
Play room - 41/52, last item -
Clothes - 23/52, last item -
Food - 13/52, last item -9 -
