Good work TC77 👏
Hope Kitty is feeling better, Foofoopuppy 🙂 Let’s hope that the cs can open in the not too distant future 🙂You are welcome bit_by_bit 🙂 Sounds like a great plan, declutter & then the reward 👏 What will you be growing this year? Thank you very much for my Two Gold Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ 👏🙂
pamsdish, what a marvellous thing to but once the Covid19 situation starts to be controlled, you really should see a doctor as soon as is practicable - it might only be a little finger but it could cause problems down the road. How lovely vulpix 🙂 flowers in the kitchen 🙂. What a wonderful project - a cat house 👏Can you get a restraining order on the neighbour’s cat 😉😉😡 to Microsoft, moneyonmymindsam. Fingers crossed 🤞 that the credit card company is more honest & then chases Microsoft. Throwing out the day to day clutter is a win moneyonmymindsam 👏 🙂Well done boultdj 👏 another one of the ‘Clutter Mysteries’ 😉 you were probably trying to squeeze out the last few drops 😉😉Well done Barny1979 👏 clutter out, cash in 🙂Leelad, I am with balabooberlies - WOW 🤩 Excellent decluttering of clothing & sage advice about the ‘stoking’ yourself up before starting such a major task 👏 Now to the bit I enjoy 😊 - one Gold Star ⭐️ for you PLUS one Gold Star ⭐️ for your daughter 🙂. By the way, I would keep that tie - ‘My Brain Hurts’ is quite a good slogan when it comes to making decisions about what to declutter 😉Good work EnergyShifter 👏 and well done for taking advantage of the nicer weather 🙂 but you forgot to mention & count decluttering the cobwebs 😉 If you can keep your Christmas cards up for 12 days, then I don’t see why you can’t keep your birthday cards up 😉😉
Great work Nicnak 👏 Clutter out, cash in 👏 Re your skip, will it be hidden away as I can see neighbours filling it up before you get the chance 😡
Excellent work VickyV 👏 New target noted 😉Brilliant decluttering Viking_mfw 👏 Persuading your DH that ‘Cash for Clutter’ is the way to go is excellent 👏👏 Now as to the scarves, why not make into ‘lots’ for sale e.g. winter scarves, summer scarves, dress scarves etc. Any that don’t sell could then go in the cs bag.Good work jacwins 👏 and well done for disposing of ood medicines safely 👏👏
Balabooberlies, apologies for driving you crazy 😉. Earnest comes from my silent promise to myself that I will ‘Declutter in Earnest’ 😞 so when I do have a spurt of decluttering or cleaning i credit Earnest with putting in an appearance 😞😉MrsSD 🏅 ⭐️ ⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 147/2021Savings Pot:Be Kind. Morning, new week and hope everyone is keeping safe,
Motivation been low as few places to give/donate things so realise I've letter small items clutter everywhere and I need to declutter surfaces and then when away revisit drawers etc. Pens, pegs and handcream etc seem to roam around the house on their own. found far too many by my bed, three pens under the sofa, just cleared my desk and cleaned it (about 30 items rehomed) and a few bits of paper away, counting as 6 (6 x 5 mins) 132 - 137
138 broken knitting needle.
Going back to notebook for my lists instead of random bits of paper (although use up scrap paper (clipped with bulldog clip) for rough notes/work/shopping lists.12 -
Dear All
I don't know how to multiple quote to thank you all personally, but I am overwhelmed with all for your kindness regarding my DH. Its a fast moving thread , I have tried to put thanks on your posts, apologies to anyone I missed. I don't know how you do it Mrs. SD .
I don't want to derail the thread . He has an progressive undiagnosed neurological condition despite fantastic care there is no diagnosis. My mission is to simplify and declutter. have as much of the house on autopilot, when we have medical episodes I can just grab what we need and go.
Truly grateful to all. x

Back in to report mission bedroom completed.
I threw a bag of leather save from a sofa away and a bag. I had been hanging onto that leather for 10 years at least.
Furniture got moved round and a blanket box re purposed. Now its storing packaging as I am also getting cash for clutter. Finally I went trhough all my nursing stuff and had a pile 4 inches thick or articles. I would save them for scrap but I have plenty and two boxes of notebooks to use so it is going in the recycling.
I made the bed up in my favourite quilt cover and some brand new cotton sheets I had been given by a neighbour. I had only been looking for some online the day before but then found these at the back fo the linen store. Forgotten. 👏
It feels odd to have the room so tidy. It was weird in the night NOT worrying about tripping up and I can't believe the amount of space. It is Fantastic. I feel like a rest day today but will put that off until tomorrow so I can kick start the craft room.
Thanks for the encouragement Mrs SD. I am growing the usual stuff like peas potatoes and beans. I finally grew carrots last year so I am challenging myself with Kohl Rabi this year. Luckily I got too many seeds last year so don't have to buy much.

Morning all,
Quick early hours speed tidy and job search for 3 hours so far. Can't do any washing and forgot that!! but there is only one small load stacked up at the moment.
A few more clothing items to go to relative (just waiting on reply to see if they like) so will arrange to send them this week.
Plan to be going through the DIY bag later so possibly more phone cables and paperwork to go, I do have a lot of working pens and empty notepads so wondering how many to keep (?) but possibly some notepads can be sent to relatives daughter in the same parcel if wanted for school work notes.
Scraping the barrel really to declutter each day but the ongoing process is really helping in the long run.
Dog walk to clear my head and back to job search first.
Hope everyone is warm and safe

Good morning you fabulous people. Fantastic efforts going on.
As I have mentioned before I thoroughly, ruthlessly decluttered the whole house last year. decluttering is like painting the Forth bridge, constant and never ending. I have been through the other corner cupboard in the kitchen and identified some more things to go.
I have realised I am one of those people who other people try to offload their stuff onto. I hate waste and if I cant use it perhaps know someone who can. Got rid of a small Welsh dresser for someone yesterday.
No developments with the cat house. We went into town to buy a jigsaw and a sander as our previous ones had been worked to death. Started raining when we got back so just had to watch telly and knit instead. More ins were 2 terracotta plantpots. One for me to plant my bulbs in and one for Mr V to experiment for the office at work with a tea light heater. I think it may work in a tiny space, he is excited to try it. ( see you tube)
45,46 indoor planters
51 glass storage jars
52 another candle in jar used up
I am making an effort to use up half burned candles and also toiletries, particularly hotel toiletries. tmi for some,I have 5 pairs of pants on heavy rotation with retirement on the horizon.
