I have decluttered OH to the hospital on Friday. I didn't get my coffee over the fence with my neighbour as OH came down from a long soak in the bath very breathless. Had been slightly breathless since Wednesday but we both thought it was possibly the cold we had. Managed to get an emergency appointment at the doctors where oxygen was given immediately and an ambulace called. Lots of rushing around on my part to get an overnight bag sorted and back to the docs but the ambulance had been and gone so off to the hospital. Found OH in the A+E already installed on a bed wired up to various beeping machines and oxygen masked. Against all the rules I was allowed to stay with OH in a separate cubicle. I think this was because we have both been double jabbed but not sure. Turns out it is a blood clot on the lungs, which I suspected, and OH is now installed in a high dependency ward but may be moved to critical care if they have to change the medication meaning more closely monitoring will be requured. I didn't get home from A+E until the small hours Friday night/sat morning and was able to visit for a short while today. 1 visitor at a time allowed by booking system. I have spent the rest of today updating various family and friends and fell asleep on the couch. Just made it up to bed now and alarm is set for visit tomorrow, off to sleep now.
Total failure on the Friday frog and all other housework and decluttering but hoping to get get into some sort of routine in the next couple of days as I I think this is going to be a few weeks in hospital rather than a few days.
Take care everyone13 -
Liverpool A - sending positive thoughts he’s in the right place and being monitored. Take care of you, my GP said so many people are developing complications from colds due to lowered immunity, isolating and masks. Declutter if it helps otherwise build up strength. I used to spend a lot of time in hospital and critical care exhausting.Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen floor took ages. Washed dishes, washed clothes, scrubbed cat litters. Hall, vestibule and morning room floors - hoovered and mopped. Vestibule wooden cupboards and coat stand polished. I joined Slimming World.Today I’m going to3. Oh my goodness LiverpoolAnne, xxx
Nice to see you Mothernerd. You have moved mountains even while not feeling your best, credit where credit is due. I take my hat off to you.
BBC, go girl, you are killing it! Could do with joining you at a slimming club. I just can't get into it atm.
I have a surprise house guest,DD2. The room was ready, so easy.
I think DD1 is visiting me and my Mum today. I will ty to palm her off with the drawers for her BF Birthday. Talk about being organised, no actually. I am a month early! His Birthday is 25th November !!!!! I don't want the drawers in my sitting room for a month.
I still need to sew the handles on the Halloween bags and shorten the door curtain. That is achievable today despite visitors. Mr V at work today and this evening too. Once done the machine can go back in the pantry till the next blue moon.
Chipping away at frogs. Couple of phone calls made on Friday to the builder and solicitor. Dental clinic phoned me Friday with a cancelation so off to see them tomorrow.

@Liverpool_Anne: Positive thoughts for your DH. I am in agreement. Everything else has to take a back seat when there is a crisis like this. Big hugs.
Congrats on your first visitor to the guest room @vulpix. You can smile even more now because the hard work was so worth it.

Try again with a short post 🤞
Saturday was another crisp & mostly bright autumn day 🙂 DH & I went to my cousin’s for a family get together unfortunately DSis has a heavy cold so decided to stay home ☹️ We were lucky with bus & train times & had time to pop into an off licence to pick up a few beers & wine. All 3 of my cousins were there + partners + four 2nd cousins + my uncle. Everyone looked really well & we have all been lucky enough to avoid the dreaded Covid. It was a gloriously happy gathering - lots of catching up & laughter. As well as great food for the body, there was sustenance for the soul 🙂 I do not have the words to describe how happy DH & I felt & I even got ‘masked’ hugs 🤗 We spent almost 8 hours with the family which should sustain us for a few months 🙂 Train into London Bridge then we treated ourselves to a black cab for the 2nd part of our journey. DSis had spent her day washing & drying bedding, watching loads of TV & having baked beans on toast for dinner. However she has lasagne, focaccia & birthday cake to look forward to for Sunday lunch - compliments of our cousin 🙂 so has not missed out entirely 🙂

@Liverpool_Anne...absolutely agree about prioriteis and decluttering on the back seat. Wishing your DH as speedy a recovery as possible.
Abit behind with readind posts. Not alot done here, weekends much time spend watching DD2 play football so she declutters energy and its enforced doing little for me which is probably good. Listed lots of things to sell with lots of watchers, only 1 sold, and when packing it noticed a mark which I hadn't seen so offered buyer chance to cancel. Realise that the things I keep and think are 'fab/cute/cool etc' often aren't so will be looking at more to recycle and CS and save the time and effort. Lots did go straight to CS yesterday although I did keep the italian handbag back at the last minute but think it will go in the new CS bag (fingers crossed).
Few frogs done today 1786 - 1789.
Hoping everyone is taking as much care of themselves and loved ones as possible x9 -
