Finally finished sorting & decluttering the spare room I use as an office. I can move on to the living room now!
Also made the decision not to unpack & put together a bookcase I bought recently, as I intend to move in the next 6 months - it will be easier to move in its cardboard box. That also means I will leave all the books I had planned to put on the bookcase in their box! Job done!
Wrapped & addressed a video I sold on EB to post on Monday - the first I've sold of the videos I decluttered & put up for sale.

2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING

DH dealt with another of his frogs 👏 He spent a couple of hours replacing the hinges on the Goldwing top box 👏🙂 My mini frog was dealing with various charity raffles - buying tickets & writing cheques - will post tomorrow. Dinner was the 2nd half of last night’s Curry for DH & me. DSis finished her chicken pieces, chips & onion rings. All reheated in oven. Wudupa.

Sorry I missed you on my previous post, skogar 😔 That pesky work getting in the way of decluttering 😉 However you still managed a good amount of sorting/decluttering & have been rewarded with a back bedroom that you are proud of 👏 One medal 🏅 on its way 🙂 Enjoy your week with your sister & hopefully you will be fully recharged & will be able to tackle the kitchen with renewed vigour 🙂😉
Excellent work on completing the challenge nannywindow 👏 one Gold Star ⭐️ on its way Thank you so much for my special gold medal 🥇 which has been added to my signature 👏 Brilliant work in the office 👏 and getting DH involved was a stroke of genius 🙂😉
What a lovely surprise EnergyShifter - you & DS being invited in for brunch 🙂 Joining up to Friends of …. Local Woodlands will hopefully mean you can do a bit more socialising 😉
Blackberrycurved hope the knee gets better soon 🤞 Plenty of rest is called for & then you will be able to tackle your planned declutter 🙂 but well done on moving the music system & homeless CDs 👏 You have officially started your decluttering journey 🙂👏 and then continued it with several more items 👏 As to the cats the rubbish bags obviously weren’t very comfortable 😉😉
Good work short_bird 👏 I am slightly bemused but I do like your rule of only working for one organisation per day 🙄 😉 as long as you do NOT exhaust yourself 😔
Excellent result at the car boot vulpix 👏 Well done on the amount of money gained but also well done on not taking anything home 👏 Hopefully you will be just as successful on Sunday 🤞 Did the suitcase get donated along with the clothes? 🙂 Drinks with friends in a pub was a perfect way to end your day out 🙂 As to looking in the newly decluttered spare room - I don’t blame you at all 😉🙂 A joyful moment to end your day confirming you are a successful declutterer 👏🙂
Good work TC77 👏 I am fully confident that you will declutter lbs at your own pace 🙂
Lovely to see you TheMsTeale 👋 Excellent work on the spare room, earning you a Gold Star ⭐️ Had to smile 😃 at your decision to leave things boxed for ease of movement 😃 very practical 😉
Off to bed now 🙂

Today I’ve been through the drawers and wardrobe. Some bits to charity and some bits to the rag bag for recycling. This evening there may be some more bits to the charity shop depending on how the eb*y sales go. I’m fed up of them hanging around and they’ll have had two weeks online so if they don’t go one way they’ll be going another way!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

1537 Posted my bowel cancer screening kit off
1538 Food colouring replaced with new
1539 Plastic bags recycled at MrC
1540 Numerous emails deleted
1541 Committee papers shredded
1542 Shorts in bin - another item worn out by overuse in pandemic
1543 Tatty PJs binned
1544 Cheque for Raffle tickets sent off
1545 Plants put in front pots along with remaining bulbs from birthday present
1546-7 Both lawns mowed
1548 Weeding

I did 2 hours out in garden so feeling stiff now. Having a break and cup of tea. The committee of one of my hobby groups seem to be having a no holds barred 'domestic' on line. Keeping right out of it - banging heads together springs to mind.

What a lovely group. I am feeling inspired I haven’t actually decluttered anything today as painkillers have knocked me out but I have been thinking about it. I’ve taken the bins out which seems a massive task in my head but in reality it’s a 10 minute job. Odd that some chores are easy but big in my head. Putting the quilt cover on I equate to a mountain climb but takes 15 minutes once I start.2. Hired a cleaner £30 for 2 hours once a fortnight not really money saving but it will be if I can earn more in them 2 hours and I’m less stressed.DF by 2023 No 17 £1,644 /£6000 Total debt £18,000 at the start of DFW Journey. 201814TH JULY 2021 DEBT FREE now in control365 1p challenge No 499

I have been off the 'puter for a few days. Amazing work everyone. Even the little things matter eithr mentally or physically so the seemingly tiny wins I see some have had are good to hear about.
I have done nothng in the house but decluttered the garden, took cuttings and potted some gift plants today. DH helped out with some of the clearing at the end of the garden, just cutting back some brambles and branches. We leave the ground stuff for the critters.
We are very happy that a hedgehog has taken up residence beneath a clematis and has made a sort of nest. the clematis will die back but I have made a sort of bowl in the clematis covering and stacked cut back leaves from the surrounding crocosmia on that. As the clematis dies back they will gently lower onto the top of the nest naturally.
Keep well and keep at it everyone
