The afternoon & early evening stayed sunny but very windy. I ended up doing basically nothing apart from harvesting more tomatoes - 753g red tomatoes & 150g cherry tomatoes, washed & prepped chard ready for blanching, sorted my post immediately. Dinner was sm breaded chicken, mash, butter beans & peas. Wudupa.

You are welcome bit_by_bit. Excellent advice for vulpix. A tiring but satisfying day for you & your family. The power of a photograph cannot be measured - but always particularly moving when personal. Rather pleased to see that your DB is aboard the Decluttering Charabanc/s 👏 Great work on the allotment 👏 + a bonfire to look forward to 🙂 my inner pyromaniac is trying to break free 😂
Sounds like you had a lovely time EnergyShifter 🙂 and how satisfying that you have recharged your Life Batteries 🙂 Good work on the decluttering 👏
TC77, so sorry to hear about your dad ☹️ Please try not to beat yourself up - you have done plenty of caring for your dad & should remember that you can only do so much. Sending hugs to you & your dad 🤗

Morning! May I please join? I know it’s a bit late in the year, but myself and a friend have set a challenge to get rid of an item a day until the New Year (tbc in 2022) so I’m hoping to get rid of 100 items by then. I know I that would technically be 95 days but we are going to do a quick purge at the end. My aim is to gather the things over the week, list anything suitable online for selling, and if it hasn’t sold by the end of the next week to donate it.1. Old dress past saving.2. Cardigan that doesn’t suit me and didn’t sell online despite me listing it a month ago.7

AWOL this week having little holiday with friend of many years. Decluttering mostly money but have resisted some beautiful things in touristy shops in Cotswolds. Have purchased only a local tourist map and some cream teas. A bit nervous but have managed to get petrol so far when I needed it. Staying with family so took hosts out for a meal last night.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

@3secondmemory I feel for you.
You need more time to off load and keep those sunglasses to hand. You are worthy of a peaceful and happy life, it takes time to adjust to feel free. Off load your grief wherever suits you. ((Hugs)) from Lancashire xx

Tuesday started dry but overcast but the heavens opened as DH drove me to the hospital for my 3rd & final appointment for the Lung Health Check Study. My bike jacket worked but I got soaked from feet up to & including backside 😱 Whilst I was in the hospital DH did a shop at MrL 👏 All in all we were out less than 2 hours 🙂 but we’re still soaked & had to strip off & change into dry clothes 😱 The weather alternated between dry & pouring for the rest of the day. Dinner was bacon, egg, hg tomatoes & mushrooms 🤤 Wudupa.
