My darling, sweet, precious daughter is due to give birth any day now so is actually ghosting him atm 😂😂😂 he has a way of getting on her nerves 😬 

we have a running family joke that we’re going to see how old my grandson is before he figures out that his favourite Nana was once married to Grumpy 😂

i’ll sleep on this one for a bit - I am physically and mentally drained, no longer leaping out of bed to grapple the next task.

@3secondmemory, oh I have a frog connected to my exH that I have been trying to sort out for about 30 years. I have no idea where he is or any of his siblings etc. Last I heard of him was when my niece saw him at Heathrow airport when he was on his way to Poland to work, that was about 20 years ago and now I am trying to sort out my various pensions I need all sorts of paperwork that I gleefully threw away when we got divorced

It’s been a little bit painful going through all this old paperwork. I was so determined that I was a warrior and I was going to be okay. Invincible and immortal 😂😂I have my loyal cheerleaders but I feel like such an imposter! No one really knows me. 

my life sucks. It’s always sucked. I am miserable and resentful that every part of my body hurts, every flipping day! !!!!!! off at everyone who told me that having a positive attitude, or working harder, things would be better! Seeing this paperwork hurts!! Digging in my brain to find the girl who opted out of Serps in the 80’s cos I was on a high, in a great job, making loads of money

@3secondmemory it's pants having no huge pension pot like men. Before the mid-90s, I couldn't join a pension scheme as I worked mainly part time or on short-term contracts while my kids were at primary school. As soon as I could I joined a scheme (early 2000) but I wasn't entitled to a share of my first husband's pension due to our divorce starting before the date of change. When it came to my second divorce my XH was a complete w****r and made several settlement offers which were all withdrawn after being accepted. I eventually came away with a relatively small amount, almost equivalent to its cost in legal fees. Hey ho, the positive is I'm happy, even if I am poor!

Thank you for my medal Mrs SD. I am not that organised , just realised we need to change the address on our driving licences today. Also need to chase up the cat identity chips. Because they have not been to the vet in the last 2 years they/we have been deleted from their system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They didn't tell us, it was just that I phoned to change our address that I know.
 I will look into a RBR ,I rather fancy it.

 It has been strange today to have a Saturday off. We have been to Sheffield to DD1 to put a new belt on Step sons carpet cleaner which she has borrowed. I have bought paint. I cannot stand this blue, red and brown colour scheme in our bedroom any longer. I have also picked up a pine blanket box, second hand, cheap as chips. The immediate plan is to cover up the blue walls with white paint, empty the boxaghedon which is the back bedroom into our room, make the back bedroom useable and then unpack/sort the boxaghedon. Simples.

 DS and DIL are coming to stay in a couple of weeks on their way to the Lake District. They climbed Ben Nevis a couple of weeks ago,Snowdon last Thursday and plan to do Scafell pike. So 2 weeks  to be sorted and tidy. I  had better get myself under the stairs and find the painting stuff...it's in a box!

 Gardening stuff passed on,some other random stuff in the box to list on free site,think its to do with flashing or damp proofing possibly maybe.

Two blue Ikea bags of plants which had spread to the wrong place, a broken toilet seat & the packaging from the new one.

I also decluttered 2 bags to my local hospice shop - and managed not to buy anything while in there!

1406 - 1411 this morning abit of activity, broken small storage box, old bank/building society books, receipts, few papers, EHIC card, 
1412 moved a few things around to make more space
1413 decorative jar to CS
1414 bag of food to DD1, then took her for coffee and a push (hope she'll be on crutches soon).
1415 some paperwork with DD1
Looked out some clothes to go but will count when out.
Been watching tv and doing little this evening but may go and do some tidying.

Hoping everyone has a peaceful rest of the weekend.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT

2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING 

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher;  go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉

4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILY

Saturday was a miserable dark, wet day ☹️ Very heavy showers, a little bit of sun & a lot colder than it has been. DH watched the MotoGP qualifying + did a bit of work in the garage. I did sweet f..a.. apart from catch up on the Olympics 😔 We have lots of medals 🙂 🥳 I had salad again - using up more los 🙂 I cooked sausages, mash, baked beans & plum tomatoes for DH & DSis. Strawberries & cream for afters. Wudupa.

nannywindow, not sure I need an excuse to cease decluttering 😉😉 The Olympics is just convenient 🤣 Each time the Olympics comes around I try to watch at least 5 minutes of every sport - today’s was the baseball ⚾️ - what a great result 😉 Although I am pleased to hear I am not the only one watching 👏 

Floss, serves him right 🤣 I was very lucky when I got divorced (5 years from wedding to decree absolute) - ex was very lazy so I arranged the divorce & sorted the finances including selling off a houseful of furniture for a pittance 😉 I was also not blessed with children but in hindsight that in itself was a blessing. Your mention of how badly treated women have been & still are in relation to pensions is a reminder that women will never be equal until men can give birth. Sorry I am getting off my soapbox now 😉

We might not really know you 3secondmemory but you do not come across as an imposter. To me you are a lady who is human, caring & keeps on going/trying regardless of what life throws at you.

Good morning, I haven't been on here for ages, but I'm still sorting and tidying, and taking stuff to the chazzers.  It's a habit now.

DH has started to investigate the contents of the loft, so I can see that that will be ongoing!

We tidied our utility room the other day and got rid of a few things, also rearranged to make more room.

Hope everyone's ok and still decluttering.

Keeping toothache at bay with regular paracetamol but have to be careful to only take the 8 allowed a day.  I never take any medication if I can help it (I am very lucky I know not to need it) but I think it is making me feel down along with the pain.  Next dose due about 9.30 - when that kicks in I will tackle the urgent frog (Croaking quietly on dining room table).  A bit fed up yesterday - had minor car issue and felt as though everything including me was going wrong at once and really missed DH of 50 years dealing with these things for me.  It is coming up to 3 years that he has been gone and some days are harder than others.  Lunch with DS2 and family today. 

I got up in the night and did a few bits but eventually managed to go to sleep again.  Rained later yesterday so I didn't get grass cut and not played with lolly kit yet. (That was new so I need to find something to leave the house in its place).  New pump collected so will ring plumber in the morning.  I had a wander round MrAs yesterday - don't go there often as farthest away of supermarkets.  Got the new lunch box DGS4 wants for September and replaced a few kitchen bits.  They seemed to be better stocked than Mr M which I normally go to.  

1374-1375 Two pairs of rusty kitchen scissors replaced with new ones.
1376 Annoying set of kitchen scales to CS bag and replaced with new set
1377 Difficult sudokus finished in middle of night
1378 Various desserts from fridge to go with me to DS2
1379  Packaging to recycling

Quick edit to add 
1380 Blind repaired Friday - felt a bit of a twit as fitter found missing piece in corner on floor and put back in 2 minutes.  However the replacement part I had been sent (I sent a photo to company) was for a completely different type of blind so I'm not the only person who is daft.
1381 Downloaded and saved photos from all my trips and days out over last month so up to date again.
