Blimey @nannywindow. She doesn't do anything by halves does she? I hope she heals fast and uneventfull. Very painful injuries to be sure.
Two things done today. The first should havebeen easy but turned out to be a big ugly frog, now squashed. I will be complaining and expecting recompense from the sai organisation.
The second was booking accomodation for a visit to family this week. I got three nights in all for £105 in the New Forest then Portsmouth. Not bad for high season. I am staying in the Airby one. Totally irritated by sites that claimed a room was available for &90 for two nights but when you followed the link it was 4 x more.
Anyway, happy with the results.

Evening all. I’m posting from the pub! I’d love to be able to tell you that this is because FantasyMe does that sort of thing - walks confidently into a pub to enjoy a solo glass of vino but the truth is I twisted my ankle in the village on the way home 🤦♀️😂😂😂
so many offers of help, it’s really overwhelming. I cannot put any weight on it and I just want to go home. They are arranging a lift for me.Sorted out a few major frog-obstacles though before my foot gave out - i’d been locked out of my Hampshire county council website and I haven’t been able to access my medical records or book an appointment for some time because of some very overzealous gatekeeping by a particular receptionist at my surgery.8 -
Cheers, @nannywindow, I should hear this week if I've got an interview...

Thanks bit by bit..... and no she doesn't do anything by halves. She is now a fully paid up member of our family Clumsy Clara club. Seems all the females, me who fell off a step small ladder and smashed my face about. My late DM who fell down 3 stairs and broke her foot, leg and shattered her heel and now DD. Seems we can trip, fall about, down or off usually over nothing but thin air 😂3secondmemory Ouch ! Strange though that you should be near the pub when your accident occurred, wink, wink. Seriously I hope it's not too twisted, take care, rest and put your feet up.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

I thought a bruise was developing but appears to be a rather large blood sack - hoping that keeping it ‘up’ will help. I have a cold gel pack on it but I’m clutching a hot water bottle to my chest at the same time - I’m so cold that I’m considering putting the heating on.What a day!8 -
nannyw goodness, and the poor girl was only walking! That sounds very painful. I am told feet are painful. I fell off my Scholl sandal in about 1977, My ankle has never been the same since!
3secondmemory,hope you are home now and resting.x
Granny k,heres hoping you get to see a dentist soon.x
I had a bit of a tidy of the office (cardboard box) chucked some stuff out about the old house. I also mended a horses leg,not real. He had an accident when we moved house. Also tidied one of the sheds. Made a pile of stuff for the next tip trip. I have begun gluing some faux !!!!!! willow, yes honestly. Mended the pasting table ,it sagged in the middle. Potted up some Chrysanths.
Enjoy the upcoming better weather.

Hi all, well my goodness, you turn your back for a while and everyone starts throwing themselves around. Nannyw that sounds quite difficult to manage, both legs/feet injured and according to sporty friends ligament and tendons take ages to heal, longer than bone breaks so I hope your DD is a fast healer.
@3secondmemory, do take care and if you can't weight bare maybe a trip to a & e is needed justin. How nice though that you had so many offers of help, it does your heart good to know that people will still help even in these strange times.
I have spent most of the day haviana hunting. I bought a pair as a gift for my niece who lives in the carribean in January 2020 in the sales as I had planned to visit in May 2020, obviously that was cancelled and my niece is currently visiting London, she is house sitting for a friend and catching up with people she hasn't seen for 2 years. I am going to see her this weekend so I really need to find themThe hunt will continue tomorrow, I know where I put them but OH has admitted to moving them but doesn't know where to. Good job I have a couple of days. During the hunt various things have been tidied into neater piles and various bits of rubbish has been binned so it wasn't a complete wasre of time. I also managed to get 2 loads of washing done as we have had a day with only a smattering of rain.
Take care everyone7 -
Hiya - first time on this board
We have had a wardrobe blitz and have a mountain of clothes/textiles no longer wanted. The best have gone to friends who had a rummage - the remaining good stuff has been washed and ironed and sent to the charity shop, the old towels and bedding have gone to the local animal charity and what we have left is a pile of stuff that is not good enough for donation - torn, stained or just worn through. I have more than enough craft project materials but I don't want to just put it all in the household waste. Is anyone aware of recycling for this sort of textile waste?

Ouch @3secondmemory. Please go and get it looked at. Dsis fell and broke her ankle but didn't get it checked for ten days and got a clot. Urgent!
@vulpix. I am a great advocate, indeed an expert, of the the cardboard box method of clearing up but fail on step two of this method by failing to sort it out 'later'.
Off down Saath today to visit family. Two bags in the car. One full of art supplies for SiL and also for her; a bag of wigs. She is allergic to hair dye so is trying some out. some wigs. I haven't seen her for months as she is not well.
Going to have another go with hoarding sister as well so no doubt will come back with a car full. I have done well disposing of her stuff immediatly on my return home each time
Happily I also sold a 50 cds that were out of case, damaged etc. I had put them online for crafts on several selling sites. The person who has bought them say they are for chicken enrichment toys!Who knew?

@TheGardener ask your local charity shop if they take rags - they may do if they are all bagged & clearly marked as they can get paid for them. Otherwise, check your councils recycling page on their website.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
