Put 1 thing on ebay to chance my arm.
Put 2 cashmere jumpers in charity bag but pulled them out, so will launder and then stick on ebay.
Will wait for plus one to go out to work early tomorrow and will get my declutter on 😈
There isn't really any /much clutter here but if I do my usual sweep of the place I'm sure I can find a few more bits I can live without. The charity shops here are dire so they need my clutter 😂 well that's my excuse.
Now if only I could convince plus one to get rid of the golf stuff having dropped into conversation that it would be better placed in his parents garage (I don't feel bad given this place is pretty much all their unwanted things 😂)
Got 2 terrible drunks moved in upstairs but I shall not stress it - I'm hoping with the pubs being open inside they shall spend most of their life in there. So druggies one side and drunks the other just months before we want to market it. People come and go so I'm hoping as they are renters they will go fairly sharpish. All other neighbours agog with rumours but life's to short for me to get involved in all that 😂😜.

Currently sharing a room with 64 tomato plants, 7 yellow courgette plants, 23 red pepper plants and 17 dwarf beans - it should train me not to put things down on flat surfaces because I don't have any atm. All in cut down 2 l bottles, finished off two bags of compost and remixed the compost from the plants which failed - those in the open were sopping wet, the ones under shelter were dry as dust. Binned empty compost bags, green mouldy yoghurt cartons, about 17 top halves of bottles and a load of wrappers from the bottles. I got wet yesterday and my dress was even wetter than I was. Today we have had over 12 hours without rain but then it started at 6 pm - all the plants are in my room as I wanted them inside before it rained again. No time left today to dig or paint. Think I deserve 10 points for today and maybe 7 for yesterday. Also put a decorative panel up for mum using some of the cable clips I bought in town.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage11

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Oops 🙊 Saturday did have a few dry moments 😉 Dinner was creamy mushroom pasta (recipe in Od*b*x) - absolutely delicious 🤤 so a definite keeper 🙂 Wudupa
Sunday was a rain fest - drizzle in between heavy downpours 😔 DH watched the MotoGP races then changed the battery in the Harley, DSis had a bath. DB phoned - he has mostly recovered from his bout of Covid19 apart from having an inhaler as he cannot yet breathe deeply - signed off work for another week. Everyone else is fine & fighting fit. Roast pork dinner with roast potatoes, red cabbage, peas & carrots + DH made a most excellent gravy 👏. The crackling was to die for 😉 - in fact I managed to cook everything to a good standard & there were clean plates all round 😉🙂 Whilst dishing up all the electric in the kitchen went off 😱 fortunately on a separate circuit. DH managed to get it going again but we have no idea why the circuit tripped 🤔 The washing up was not so great but I did do it & dried & put away 3/4 of it with the rest being left to dry. DH has his 2nd jab tomorrow i.e. Monday.
991 - 1000 Kitchen recycling x 2, cardboard packaging, newspaper, foil trays, 3 plastic takeaway boxes & lids (from a cupboard - so proper decluttering 😉😉), drinks cans x 2 - recycled

Once the toilet is fixed I can see a future when you will be writing a long letter of complaint 😉 I had a vision of the picture telling you it wasn’t afraid of heights & asking you to put it on the wall 😄
Great work villagelife 👏 especially the disposable gloves 😉Apologies 3secondmemory 😔 Your poor son ☹️ getting Covid twice ☹️ Hopefully things are slotting into place for him 🤞 & with your support he will be clutter free. Good Morning decluttery friends,
What a busy time I have had. Went to see my son and GF on Saturday. He had been into Oxford for a blood test. I think I said before that he is on the drugs trial. He was told a few weeks ago that he had been given the placebo but he sort of knew that as he was quite poorly over Christmas with Covid. He was given the first vaccine ,he is 30. They told him that all the hoohar about clots is Political. Also told clots affect 60% young women. 1 in 2 million doses,( I think that's what was said) a much much smaller chance of getting a clot than there is in taking the contraceptive pill. cant remember the numbers for that.
A lovely time was had by all in The Cotswolds. Mr V nearly had a heart attack paying £28 for 2 take away coffees,a salad box and a chilli box. It was outstanding food. Haha just like us,we were out standing in the drizzle.
On the way back we went to Stratford upon Avon centre to collect the Pembroke table that I had bought online. It is bigger than expected and the boot of this new car smaller than a previous boot. The boot door wouldn't close so the alarm beeped EVERY second for the next 2 1/2 hours. We had a great time playing 70's disco music at full volume. The table is pine not the usual mahogany as I thought it would suit the cottage. The cottage is 165 year old weavers house. This table though lovely may be a bit big. I will take it and see, I can always sell it on.
Yesterday morning I nearly killed Mr V getting stuff out of the loft. Storing kids stuff, I don't mind when they only have tiny houses and I have the room. The girls are more settled than my son and have taken their stuff. DS lived in Canada for a couple of years so we had stuff from then. 5 banana boxes of books,2 suitcases of stuff, a big box of lego,a big box of mechano and knex and a sleeping bag taken to my Mums yesterday. Along with the Moses basket on stand and a double school desk and little chairs. All destined for DS who is hoping to be able to view houses in the summer holidays from school. Too busy just now as it is exam season.
Also on its way 2 suitcases belonging to DD2 who is moving to the city next Friday. Also out several pieces of furniture that I have restored over the years. Listed on FB and most sold and was collected yesterday. The loft is looking less overwhelming now. There does seem to be an excess of lampshades and lamps and pictures and mirrors, maybe next week end.
Mr V was up at 4 as one of the cats had brought a live mouse in and it was behind a bookcase. I never heard a thing, but I do have to put the house back together when I get up.

Only one and a half hours into live chat with BG this morning. Now have to wait for Complaints team to get back to me again. So far they have given me an appointment for anytime tomorrow which I explained I could not do as I have school run pm or to wait until 2 June. They gave me two phone numbers to ring - one of which cuts you off as soon as it is answered and the other one 'doesn't exist'.

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉What a difference a day makes 🙂 Monday is dry, mostly bright white clouds & sunshine 🥳 even the breeze is not quite so chilly 👏 DH has been out for a small sm shop - we had run out of bread & salt. He picked up MrS own brand salt 29p compared to £1.05 for the famous brand. I even have DH on the MSE bandwagon but only for certain items 😉
DSis decided to go with DH for his 2nd jab - taking the bus. Not sure he is too happy about it 😉I think he wanted some time on his own 😉😉 but he is a saint & it is not worth the sulks if the “offer” had been refused 😉😉 They have just left. I am watching the end of Midnight Lace & then going to have a long soak.1003 Newspaper - recycledLet’s see if I can catch up with the cheerleading 😉🤞You have been a busy bee elsien 👏 Your tale of keys reminded me that I have a st of keys for ndn - which i appear to have misplaced 😱 Fortunately i haven’t binned any keys recently so must be about somewhere 🤞 I really should have labelled them 😔
Something to look forward to EnergyShifter 🙂 and having a “Plan” is a major bonus 👏🙂 Your spurt of energy has seen a lot of decluttering 👏 but do pace yourself 😉 A very late morning routine 😉Excellent decluttering newlywed 👏 and what a result on finding well loved dresses & a jacket that are almost ready to be put back into rotation 🙂👏
The heavens have just opened - so much for thinking spring/summer was on the way 😔
Good work villagelife 👏Well done moneyonmymindsam 👏 & good luck with the selling 🤞 & the gentle persuasion of plus one 😉🤞 Everything is crossed that your new neighbours are soon your ex-neighbours 🤞🤞🤞Sounds like you will have great crops mothernerd 👏 especially when everything is planted out 👏 now you just need the weather to be kind 🤞Very pleased to hear that things are looking up Marpau 🙂 Meanwhile you have been busy 👏 Hopefully everything for sale will sell & for copious sums of cash 🙂🙂
Tee-hee 😁 3secondmemory 😉Sounds like you had an excellent weekend vulpix 🙂 Did the lunchtime treat include gold plated eating utensils 😂 Seems like the vaccination programme is progressing quite quickly if the NHS is now onto 30 year olds 👏 I do hope your son is fully recovered. You have been very busy & poor MrV must be quaking in his boots at the very mention of decluttering 😉😉 only joking 🙃 - it sounds like you have a good’un 🙂 I would also like to thank you for sharing your life - good luck to your son in his house hunting 🤞Well done on all the decluttering & sales 👏
Do you have a plan Wednesday2000? At the rate people want to move out of London it will become a ghost town 😉😉
GrannyKate I will be angry 😤 for you 😖 Fortunately you are keeping a record of the shambles (here on the thread) so when it is eventually sorted you will have all the info to hand for a blistering letter of complaint. BG look out 😉
Off to have my bath & the sun is out again 🤔MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1003/20212021 Savings Pot: £114.80 to end of MayBe Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives. ⭐️2025 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £299.00
