Yes Floss I think the high chair could go in one of the bedrooms,I have a very old teddy bear that was my Great Aunts that would look nice in it. I am undecided about the Moses basket. I will defer a decision about it just now. Floss try your stuff on Face Book Marketplace. No fees. I don't use ebay anymore. marketplace is so much quicker.
I have come to terms with parting with my kitchen dresser and table and many chairs. Someone else can love them like I did.
I will offer my bedroom wardrobes and drawers free on Fb and move the 2 chests of drawers I am keeping into our room.I am not taking any wardrobes with me, they would never go up the stairs.
I am going to a friends tomorrow for afternoon tea in her garden with some ladies from craft group. We have not seen each other for over a year. Mr V is collecting a free sink for our bathroom make over at the cottage. It is all coming together quite nicely.

I’ve had quite a week. I needed to get a lot sorted before my landlords inspection. Thankfully that went well, even to the point that my outdoor window cleaners arrived at 9 o’clock in the morning to give the outside an added spruce.I made several trips to the fabric reclamation dumpster by the local pub – I downsized my king-size duvet last year and had various other pillows and what not to get rid of. I sorted out all my king-size bedding and that is ready to go to the food bank. I filled my neighbours bin with recycling – I never know whether to save boxes or not but I’m taking a chance that I won’t need to return anything.
all of my sons belongings are sorted ready for Saturday and, when I get back from Devon, I am going to start listing all the surplus bits and pieces on the local Facebook pages.
i’m going to replace the furniture in my bedroom soon. I ended up with all the furniture my children didn’t want when they left home 😂 tired of the drawers getting stick and not closing. The bottoms are all sagged and the runners are rubbish. That’s going to require some organisation - I need to get rid of the old stuff.I’ve got another bag for the charity shop – a holdall actually, but they can keep that. Shoes, kitchen utensils and some books.I can barely move this morning and I have a shooting pain in my little finger which is driving me nuts. I’m going to sort out some bills and paperwork then go for a walk before it rains.Have a good day all.11 -
Hello all things that need to be are clean and tidy. I have a black bag still for charity. As someone else said have a few bits to try on fleabay before I cut my losses.
Been doing some life admin and still have 1 job to do there (redirect post) and 1 outstanding task at work before I even start. Am on the graveyard shift today 😂.
Still need to sort work clothes (am rotating 2 baggy shirts) and sort the make up situation out. Think I should be able to pick up some shirts from charity shop at some point.

I took the bag of teapots etc into my local CS, after keeping it in the car nearly a week! HAD to have a little browse while I was in there, and got a ball of yarn - 50p, strong cotton perle just perfect for binding the cut edges of the wool rug with a bald line down the middle, I`m planning to cut in half for 2 smaller ones - just the right shade of `tired cream`. Got the rug out of the caravan, and while I was in there sorted my `spare` dog beds - ridiculously reduced at time of purchase so been hoarding them ever since, donated the largest one to next door, and still have 2 new `spares`.One load of washing done and hung outside, and still using up roast lamb leg so easy food this evening, cheat`s minty lamb gravy/frozen roasties and cauli steamed over the carrot pan. Sorted! I`ll have a go at the wool rug later while we watch telly. We`ve been to vote, now going to take dog for walkies then make a list for tomorrow - anyone else here keep thinking it`s Friday today??9

Not so much done today after busy day yesterday. Went to hairdressers and to vote. BG cancelled overdue annual boiler service booked for tomorrow GRRR. Popped in for cup of tea with DIL and went to charity shop again but not taking donations today. Found another one which took 1 bag so still some in the car. Sorted and moved stuff round in greenhouse. Bought a few house bits.
893 Lots of emails deleted
894 Booked BG to come and look at toilet flush again tomorrow as still not working properly - bizarre live chat as there were 15 minute gaps before they answered each question so took an hour. They've now cancelled the boiler service.
