Hello all, I hope everyone is safe and well, if not I have plenty of virtual hugs going spare. As we still couldn't find the caravan mover controller we decided to get all the van stuff out of it's alcove in the house and have a really good check. We tried over, under and in every bag and box. Found it !! Of all the places it could have been, it was found in the bottom of the holiday shoe bag, buried under the shoes. Why ? It's very strange, think we've entered the twilight zone 😂Several now empty plastic bags from the van stuff have been binned and about 50 unwanted coat hangers put in the cs bag, they must be breeding. I think the cs will take them, I hope so as they're good ones. Some no longer needed melamine dishes/plates have gone in the cs bag too, perhaps someone else who 'vans could use them. Hopefully we can get away at some point this year, last year was a washout, but it all depends on DH and his oncologist.Decluttered the magic washing basket, one minute it's empty then the next it's full again ! Emptied the cleaner of lots of dust after hoovering/cleaning the alcove before putting the van things back.Happy decluttering all, every item out is a bonus.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Decluttered some energy with a 7 mile walk this morning in the sunshine. Have been doing some exercise videos the last few days and although I ache and struggle to complete an entire video, I have decluttered some tension in my hip and lots of tension in my shoulders (wfh at the laptop all day). So hoping this will help declutter some wobbly bits too
Still working on decluttering the freezer contents but have significant gaps in there now. I do seem to have some random bits though that I will need to combine or think of ways to use.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?10 -

15 points for today. Cleaned myself, the shower screen and base + one extra grooming task. Shower trap and cover went in a bucket of water with a slosh of disinfectant. Two bags of cans and a few loose ones put into a bin bag (hoping to take it into town/ SM recycling when I can motivate myself to go. Put old dress on, already covered in mud and paint so fine. A box and two bags of paper/ card have been put in recycling - used 12 x 1 l water bottles to squash it down in between. nasturtiums seeds planted directly into second chimney pot (part grown ones planted out earlier). Decanted a box of dwarf beans into individual yoghurt cartons. Then it started to rain, then hail.
Later on 3 cube boxes flattened and added to the pile on top of the wardrobe. Found 11 more mushroom boxes for sowing seeds, added 2 small bags of growing medium to the bag of compost, did a clear up for the window cleaner, turned over the raised bed and painted the last edge, empty can drying out in the yard. Used a hammer to take off the broken part of one of mum's garden ornaments then threaded the large fairy onto a tree branch. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9 -
Bit of an update from me. Still don't love the job but there are 10 new people and it's lovely to be in a frenzy of new work colleagues (who all think it's sink or swim there!! like I do, so I feel a lot better )
I possibly have the buyer from hell and let's call him Colonel Mustard for now, he is starting to grate my gears by being exceptionally pedantic but I shall bear with it at an arms length for now!
So waiting to be low balled any day now. Is that called guzundering lol, I shan't entertain it so will be interesting to see which one of us cuts their nose off to spite their face!
No decluttering done as over worked and working again tomorrow. Hoping to take the sack to the charity but won't count until its actually out of the house and car.
Happy Friday hope everyone is warm and well.
😊 Need to get my declutter on, oh is it sad that I am excited as plus one maybe getting new carpet 🤗

Evening, off topic but I hope people don't mind. Been decluttering kitchen which I will update but currently struggling on finding a good mop.
I've been using string mop which is great for cleaning but never dries out as the house is cold and the cloakroom I keep it in gets damp so thinking of either sponge one (don't get on with them before), or a strip one which are meant to dry quicker.
Have wood floors, hard tile (edwardian, travertine and lino type tiles in bathroom). I have vileda but struggle to change the head and resent having to buy a new pole all the time. Many thanks for ideas declutterers, will help with my stress and dirt!

Thanks Taff, steamm mops are brilliant for tiles and vinyls but sadly not for my wooden floors as unvarnished just oiled and can only cope with one mop.

It has been over a month since I last checked in. After completing my physical declutter, although I swear more stuff has started accumulating, I have made a start on my digital declutter.
- Remove myself from email mailing lists
- Close down online accounts I no longer use
- Have a clear out of the apps on my phone and tablet....why do I have so many
- Remove myself from social media sites except MSE of course
- Do something with the 1000s of photos I have
- Sort out my OneDrive, Dropbox and hard drive....so many files
