Sending cyber hugs @Black_Saturn.
Well todays decluttering is finely getting the glove finished, furry came for cuddles again and I'm not turning them down.
The halogen packed in, and with no oven I need it for baking my bread, replacement ordered and was given 7th Jan as delivery date, it came today, so old one out and new one tested and in it's place.
Still go wool left so started an odds and sods blanket. I will use up the wool and keep warm as well.£71.93/ £180.0016 -
Hi everyone, and happy hogmanay, going to start today as been through drinks cupboard, and realise alcohol doesn't last indefinitely once opened. 4 part bottles emptied and recycled, 2 bottles wine to drop off to DD1 socially distanced and some opened drinks that I won't have - can share with house mates, also food for her. Shredded old bank stuff and made some important calls, also parcel (item and packaging) - counting as 16.
Cleaning and tidying tomorrow - trying to be kind to myself as I usually like everything sorted for new year but chipping away is good enough.
Happy New Year - stay safe and warm x16 -

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.15 -
I’m sorry Black_Saturn, I’ve only just seen your signature. There are no words.I just wanted to say you’ve not derailed anything - the good thing about this thread is the support, and not always about decluttering. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

And on another note - when did cleaning get stuck into the thread title alongside decluttering???? Are you sure it’s not an either/or????All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

...I may just pop on with the occasional ta-da list & do a bit of a running tally...
Way back in March during the first lock-down, I purchased some mattes & frames to put up 4 small botanical prints that we were gifted. The pile sat & sat & sat for months in the corner and stayed on my to-do list for almost as long! They are now in their frames and ready to hang up! What stopped me I wonder? It took less than 40 minutes, including disposing of the wrapping the frames came in & shifting the excess mattes to my craft/stationary box.
The frames are now on the shelf beside the staircase awaiting some 3M command hooks to be found and applied on the wall ready for hanging (a job for tomorrow methinks!) Have also routed out a cute metal sign bought 5 years ago for the laundry room door also needing a hook or mounting tape.
(@balabooberlies - Marie Kondo freaks me out as well! - I'm not a minimalist in any way shape or form!!!)
