mystery, sorting through some games I want to keep
Cluedo have only 6 of the 9 room cards, but 4 candlesticks, 4 daggers, roles and 2 revolvers, no lead pipe or spanner.
Making a note inside the game....easier than some of the stuff I have to do!9 -
Tidies up the side of the house - main door opens onto a paved area about 6' wide and a small fenced area now gravelled and holding the bins. Filled 5/ 6 mushroom boxes with the half bag of compost left but not added any seeds yet. Moved all the painted pieces of raised bed (108 in total) round to the back of the house - loaded as many as possible onto my trolley, made two further trips with the remaining bits and another trip to pick up bits that fell off.
I Now have raised bed envy. Peeped over the fence to see what the neighbour is having done and he has some beautiful raised beds made from railway sleepers. I rejected sleepers as an option because I wouldn't be able to move them. So far neighbour has had his bit of lawn taken up, the whole area levelled, a new driveway, the raised beds installed and I think the remaining bit will be being paved. He has had 3 men working on it for 3 days. Last week he had someone dealing with the leak in his garage and replaced/ repaired his fascia boards. I will keep plodding
Two subsequent trips outside (came in and rested in between, watching episodes of Torchwood) and have moved at least ten large buckets/ planters full of stones or soil (used my dolly truck and sat down in a garden chair when needed). Plus lots of bits and sweeping/ clearing. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage11 -

One major declutter today
I finally retired. I cannot say how happy I am. No excuse for not decluttering either. In addition. One bag of my sisters folders gone to someone at work.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Wednesday was a dry, warmish day with a decent amount of sunshine. DH was out for
3.5 hours - opticians DLR out, bus back. He bought a fancy burger for his lunch, I had hm soup which I had topped up with lo broccoli, lo boiled potatoes & lo roasted Jerusalem artichokes + a beef stock cube & water. There is now enough for Thursday’s lunch for DH & me 🙂 Sorted my cs bags - like with like & labelled with contents & date when contents last touched i.e. 24/3/21. The other thing I did was make guacamole. Two items off my bingo card 🙂. Dinner was pork steaks & broccoli from freezer (still trying to empty at least one freezer for defrosting 😉) + mash.
651 - 657 Kitchen recycling, office recycling, 2 magazines, newspaper, cardboard box, drinks cans - recycled
658 Kitchen detritusGreat work moneyonmymindsam 👏 Love the idea of your ‘power hour’ 🙂 & what a great way to describe decluttering “mental wealth” - that tickled me 🙂
D123456789, Good work getting rid of 3 big bags of clothing, shoes, accessories 👏 & great that you are keeping the clutter at bay with your new way of working 🙂 I really hope that the Theatre vouchers are in date 🤞 Now as to the saga of a covid test for LO - I do admit to smiling at the skirt comment 😉 but what a ridiculous way to make you do the test 😖
Great work GrannyKate 👏 What a result with the MOT 🙂
Makes Cluedo even more of a mystery, TC77 😉 Good work on the decluttering 👏
Wow mothernerd 🤩 You have been exceedingly busy - made me tired just reading about how hard yo have worked 👏 Our raised bed has been made with sleepers but there were 2 of us carrying them through the house & we took our time 😉 Sounds like you have quite a large garden 😱 & when you have sorted everything you will have the satisfaction of having done it all yourself & hopefully saving money 🤞 which you can use for a treat 😉
What a lovely post bit_by_bit 👏🙂
Congratulations on your retirement 👏🥳😀 Please take a few days to settle into your new status And then party time 🥳 I will raise a glass or 3 😉 to celebrate 😉MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 658/20212021 Savings Pot: £41.00 to end of MarchBe Kind. Thank you for the idiot guide Mrs SD. I will put it on my list hahahahaha. I had no idea what my decluttering total was really. Thank you for keeping tabs on me.
Woohoo bit by bit. Life starts now! or rather 12th April, all being well!
Hope the neuralgia is easing Sam. Draining to have pain constantly.
Mothernerd your gardening is intense. I hope when it is done it will be a maintenance free garden so you can reap the rewards of all your hard work.
I have done nowt to speak of apart from buying a new coat which is slightly small but I shall keep it to spur me on with weight loss. I also went into work on Tuesday and litter picked in the car park for an hour then had a flinging spree in the office. Most satisfying. We have whatsapp group at work and I have suggested that when we can we should go out for our Christmas do.
I have decided that a dozen champagne flutes can be given away. My days of champagne receptions are long gone.
Thank you everyone for posting. It is so nice to hear everyone's updates.
