Sterling work Floss. I have a lot of clothes but I am slowly losing weight so I will revisit them when they fit again. I am coming to/have come to a decision about a VERY expensive mocha coloured dress I have never worn. I think I will try it at a dress agency when I am able. It is beautiful but too small atm. I thought I may wear it to my sons wedding in June but I think I want something a more jolly colour. I have matching VERY expensive shoes too!
Can anyone recommend a venue for a small wedding party in Oxford? As the wedding date has been moved, the venue they had cannot honour the new date. Short notice for a wedding booking this year, a lot of places are booked up. The alternative restaurant they would have loved has sadly closed down. they don't want an evening do or anything, just a something after the service which is at 3pm.

I decided to keep on decluttering what I could and have found £70 stashed and just general rubbish in the drawer.
Applied for a lot of jobs but no news yet.
One out today for ebay sale. Tomorrow I shall do a bit more eboy and try and do a sweep of all the rooms for clutter.
At least I know when the charity will open (I hope) so quite happy to keep things in the bottom of the wardrobe until it's ready to go.
The shoes remain in my car!
Nothings coming in which is great as we know what we have got.

Hugs @Marpau, I am sad to herar of your loss.
I have come to a bit of a stop at the moment. Nothing wrong. just having a rest. managed to get rid of a bag of rewritable DVDs to family and on free local groups.
I cleaned out the porch today. Only a bit of rubbish and mud and dust on the boots shelf. Threw one trainer there is no partner for. It only took half an hour to sort it. Just got to scrub the floor now.

I’ve ground to another halt. In the doldrums generally. Popping in to cheer the rest of you on though, it is motivating to see other people making progress.
I wouldn’t have done half of what I have without you folks, so thank you.
I have replaced some items with things that look better; now just need to convince myself that the tatty old things I’ve replaced really aren’t going to come in useful any time soon. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.10 -
Tackled the file boxes this afternoon and am currently filling my third bag - this will go out tomorrow as I'm not taking the padlock off the gate again to go and put it in the bin (using the tub of fat balls to weight it down has given me more room each day, current bag can start the next bin). harvested 4 smallest sprouts plants, a tub each of sprouts and tops and the stalks went in the green bin. Not giving it a number. I need to find my diary and don't want to disturb the filing until it all goes back in the box - one section needed to be broken down as it had broken the suspension file it was in).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

Mrs SD - thank you for my medal
Today we decided to come back down to earth and tackle the garage. We now have 7 large bags of detritus waiting for the bin men to come, so they will be sat there till next Monday unless we can get a slot at the local tip. I have no idea of what most of the stuff was, but it is gone...... however there is still more to go.
The other bit of decluttering was that I cleaned the oven, it was yuck
All the best
