DS1 "decluttered" one of my favourite mugs by smashing it on the kitchen floor (by accident). Sigh. Not counting that against my target but I have made 3 fleabay sales which takes me to 51/49 for my Feb challenge I believe

@BarbCh That layout looks lovely, very warm and relaxing!SPC #072 ~ £8.37 ----- FEB NSD ~ 10/10 ----- Declutter2021 ~ 4/1008

@BarbCh You're definitely not alone in that feeling, when you're feeling down it's hard to do something nice for yourself or work on your surroundings, so an extra well done is deserved! I did the same thing at the start of the year and it's a bit like wiping the slate clean, big improvement for mental health and once the big parts are done it's much easier to keep on top of! xSPC #072 ~ £8.37 ----- FEB NSD ~ 10/10 ----- Declutter2021 ~ 4/1009

@BarbCh Bedroom was my first place to start, moved into my OH's room and now live with some of his family so making space to combine belongings was necessary, and as much as he wasn't too keen on decluttering initially he's now grateful I've gone through the lot. Although I will have a look into feng shui, heard it mentioned in the past but never really researched it myself!
Good luck on your new journey and the search for new romance! It can be very daunting initially but can also be the best thing to happen, I was so glad when my parents decided to call it a day focus on themselves instead of trying to make it work for us kids, they're both thriving nowSPC #072 ~ £8.37 ----- FEB NSD ~ 10/10 ----- Declutter2021 ~ 4/10011 -
Gosh so much going on again. Mrs SD thanks for all the cheerleading.
BarcCh - so impressed that you've chalk painted the table already! Did you have to sand and /or prime? I have furniture i was thinking of painting.
Does anyone know how long fabric dye lasts unopened? I have both packets and little tins of fabric dye but probably 10 years old and wondered if best binned. I'm not sure I want to dye things as can imagine I will get over the kitchen and me! but wondered if can offer to anyone or if should go?
Lots of tidying- can't believe the number of things lying around which I usually don't notice - 15 biros, 2 glasses cases, clothes, plastic bags etc, counting as 3 as no of rooms tidied 354 - 366
picked up few things from DD1 to come back to my house -luckily not alot (and not counting net numbers)
367 pigeon mess removed from car
368 item back to shop
369 paper declutter
370 sorted complaint and got refund
Hope it's getting warmer where everyone is!

Not much gone out - 1/2 bottle of windscreen wash (yay!) a book and a pair of socks. And a glass and a cup which I managed to drop.
However I have finally put last years spending etc into the budget planner ready for the financial adviser (been putting that off for the whole 12 months) and am somewhat surprised to see that I’ve earned nearly a grand in selling a few bits on eBay, cash back and surveys. Didn’t expect it to be that much.I am however determinedly ignoring how much Gitdog costs me, as when I was trying to hammer some sense into his little pea brain via weekly training sessions it was an awful lot more! All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.13 -

297 another bag

Finally got back to some tidying and organising today in my sons room. Lego is now all in one unit rather than scattered round the house in broken boxes and tubs. And we cleared a shelf to allow him to display his favourite builds. Not a lot out, 3 broken toys and a bag of paper and rubbish. Still a bit to do so hopefully finish tomorrow as I’ve a couple of days off. Will also need to get stuck into DD’s room too while I’m off, wish me luck!
I think I’ve found a clothing recycling bin which is empty too so I’m going to try and get some of the bags that are lying about away tomorrow 🤞12 -
Hi, Goodness you have all been busy. I have been missing in action for a few days. Just feeling meh. But that won't help anyone so back to it. Now the weather is warmer I will be able to get some of my DIY done outside if it's fine.
The cat house is finished. Real houses have been built quicker. It was just too cold to be outside long for wood cutting. I now need to paint it and put roofing felt on. I will post a photo when it is in situ.
The kitchen is looking better ,most of the pallets have been cut up and burned over the last few nights. More cutting tomorrow should see the last pallet off. Still to address, the brown drawers ,small chair, large chair and fit the new glass which contains a cat door to the French window.
From stash I have made some cushions with rabbits on .I need to send them off to a rabbit rescue for their fundraising. Will post a pic tomorrow.
We got a new car yesterday. Very nice it is too. A different make to the old one so there will be related car bits to sell. Boot liner, tyres etc.
no decluttering except household rubbish and recycling and of course knitting wool.
Oh I did use up a perfume. I have half a bottle of another and 4 never been out of the box to go.
Things I am sable for
perfume
gin
notebooks
soap
All the above gifts

Hmmm bought some new trousers yesterday . I must have 10 pairs in my size but they are too formal, from when I used to be smart for work. I think I could let some go. I need DIY clothes these days . That has got me thinking. There are few situations I need to be smart these days. Hmmmmmmm.
