So plus one walked the dogs at 6 me completely oblivious to such events woke up at 8.
Flat does not look great think bombsite, how is this possible anyway not complaining as had a rare as hens teeth lie in.
Plus one gone to do the rounds over relatives needs but has put some thing in the washer which is banging about (thanks for that)
Dogs have ham bones so that keeps them quiet, yesterday's washing did not dry so heated airer and dehumidifier back on.
Today's 2 outs
Old kettle to go (kept the base for emergencies)
Dog harness
Will get back on fleabay to generate some funds for all my sins. We are doing well having to work really hard to find stuff to go. I really hope this will make the eventual move so much easier.

Lots of flea bays going out - am very pleased, when I first posted on this thread one of my biggest tasks was sort out LO old clothes / toys / baby equipment .... so I am making a dent in these things. A lot has gone to freezecycle and charity bags, but some things she hardly wore or were expensive ish gifts I am hoping to recoup some cash to invest in the next size of clothes for her.
I ordered some new bedding for Valentine’s Day 💕🥰 it’s been a week now, I hope it arrives soon, as I listed some current sets on flea bay and they have all sold..... I thought if I did a 10 day auction it would be fine but then I got best offers I couldn’t turn down... if it doesn’t arrive soon there will be no duvet cover for the bed 😂
DH found 4 tops for charity bag - we have booked a contactless collection for Monday. Also found some curtain fabric we never used, so that has gone in and a few more of LO clothes, so it’s quite a big bag waiting to go out.Planned to drop off some children’s books and tins at the book and food bank at church but it’s sooooooo cold might have to wait till next weekend.
have baked some chocolate and walnut cookies with LO just now to use up end of walnut packet ( good excuse eh?) hoovered kitchen whilst they were in the oven. And taken a couple more meals out of freezer - it’s almost empty enough to defrost yippee!
oh for the days when we could have friends over for a cuppa and share the cookies.... positive thoughts to all 🧚♀️10 -
Cleaning task from bingo grid today - Porch. Not much in there but dust bunnies and dead insects in corners. I need to make a cover for the garden bench I have in there. 2 baskets under bench - garden shoes and wellies in one and shopping bags in the other. Recently sorted so not much going out but collected random bags from round the house and put in there as well. I really don't need 7 walking sticks (none of them mine) or 4 umbrellas so rationalised those to 2 walking sticks, plus folding one in holiday travel box, 1 giant umbrella and 1 folding one. The giant umbrella came with a brand new car (Renault) which DH bought me about 30 years ago. Probably been used 6 times since then. I have another one which can go - National Trust for Scotland - showing signs of wear in places and think it will disintigrate in rain. Decluttered some money from bank account to safe as I am putting aside cash for next Christmas gifts and possibly some birthdays. Did a bit of shopping locally for Sunday lunch tomorrow - roads are lethal in places. Going to collect GCs for the rest of the weekend and hoping GD4 might like to help sort out toy room as she sleeps in there.
1. 7 walking sticks reduced to 3. - 4
2. 4 umbrellas reduced to 2. - 2

Spent the whole day decluttering as it's snowy and too cold to go out.
112 - old Nokia mobile from about 20yrs ago - recycled
113-119 3 old hoodies, 1 coat, 2 pairs of gloves, very unflattering hat to clothes recycling
120-121 - 2 candle holders that were gathering dust - charity box for when they reopen
122-125 - 2 duvet covers and a sheet that were stained/ripped - bin
126 - old ground sheet from teenage years with a big rip - bin
127-136 - 3 hair gels, 2 half used hair masks, shampoo, 2 conditioners, comb, and curl cream - all sold on Facebook group and posted
137 - 138 - old boxes used for posting
139-141 - stained teatowels
142-147 - 6 books I won't re-read passed on to friend
148 - broken external hard drive - had no data on as I knew it was on the way out - binned
149-151 - 3 memory pens - 1 locked with password I've lost from old job, 1 faulty, and one with only 500mb of storage so a bit pointless - binned
152-167 - duplicates of assorted stationery items that were filling up my desk drawer and I've had for at least 3 years without using up - donated to my teacher friend
168 - decorative picture of beach scene that I never really liked
169 - thousands of digital photos - blurry, random things I didn't recognise, duplicates etc - all my photos are now on Google photos and external hard drive and organised!
Still have boxes of stuff to go through and sort out - mostly fabric and craft supplies"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux9 -
I'm sorry I've been MIA, I have gallbladder problems and its been acting up. I was supposed to have it removed but as I can't trust my ex with our kids, my operation has been put on hold for them time being. Thankfully its been a few months since the last flare up and it wasn't a bad one. @EnergyShifter That poem is beautiful, thank you for sharing it. I'm glad you have shared your feelings with others, I hope it has made you feel a little better. *hugs*
I managed to clean down the side of my big freezer, it had become a dumping ground for things that had no home. Found half a crate of out of date cider, poured down the sink, cans into the recycling. Also found and recycled: a broken bike pump, a broken plastic crate, a 2011 map that my ex stole from work, a few stained plastic tubs without lids, a few flattened amazon boxes and a few holey carrier bags. I also sorted out our reusable bags and carriers into one bag and now it looks so much better.: DD1 23/11/09

Afternoon MrsSD & fellow declutterers. Well today's decluttering task was to declutter this mess! from the attic. All sorts of stuff here, things from when our daughter was a toddler (dolls, old toys which have been well used) and lots of small electricals and some fabric. Sorted the mess out into three groups, unrecyclable waste, fabric and small electricals and headed over to the recycling centre (two visits) to drop the stuff off. Daughter not happy at being out in the freezing cold, but I was a man on a mission😄 Also had time to drop off some more used batteries at aldi. So we have ended up with a nice empty space in the attic where the clutter used to be (before and after pictures below). Over the past three weeks the attic has come along really well. Next step is to declutter my daughter's room, that will be next weekends task. Continue to take each day as it comes and celebrate the small wins. That's what I'm doing now as I am sitting in the attic listening to the football and looking at the empty space, Cheers 🙂12
