Horrendous company to deal with just check their trustpilot and other reviews. They autorenew even though you turn it off and then when you try to get your money back they charged you £5. Its a scam that martin should be looking at. Its illegal too.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback. Really sorry to hear you weren't happy with our auto renew service. We do try and make this clear during the purchase journey, so customers are informed prior to buying. We also send a renewal invitation out prior to the renewal date confirming this process again. I'm concerned that you've mentioned that you turned off auto renewal and yet it still happened. I'd really like to look into that further, so if you could contact our customer service team on our contact us form (which can be easily found on our website under the "contact" tab of our menu bar), we can investigate that for you.
We do charge a small fee for the admin work needed to carry out cancellations if the renewal had gone through, this is to cover the costs that we incur and not to penalize you at all.

I've fed your comments back to my colleagues so if you do get in touch they'll be able to look into why the auto renewal wasn't turned off when you requested it.
    Kind regards,

    The Eversure Breakdown Team
  • Took out a new Breakdown Cover policy yesterday, then received an email with all of the relevant documents enclosed.
However, I immediately noticed that they had put my name as the policy holder rather than my wife's. I emailed them straight away and pointed out their error. I was then told they could not change the name on the Policy, but would have to pay for another policy. I was then to send them the reference number for the new policy, whereupon they would give me a refund on the other policy. I told them I was not happy with this and wanted to cancel my policy. I was then told it would cost £5 to process the cancellation. Very disappointed with these people and the way they do business, the person who dealt with my complaint was Rebecca Watson.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback – we're really sorry to hear that you are unhappy.

Our policies are transmitted over to us from the website based on the details that you have input there.

If the cover was set up in your wife’s name this would have been done online by yourself or maybe your computer auto filled the personal information for you in error?

As this could have been the case, we offered for you to repurchase the corrected policy and if this was done, offer you a full refund as a goodwill gesture.

As you decided not to purchase the corrected policy with us we can only cancel the cover as per the standard cancellation terms that you have agreed to, to ensure that our costs are covered as there has been no error made our side.

I hope this clarifies matters for you.

    Kind regards

  • We have 2 cars, but as one was just purchased, it is covered automatically for 12 months by Toyota. I therefore only wanted cover for one car. If you ignore the personal policy and go for a specific vehicle policy with Eversure Gold it is only £23.09, so if you only have two cars, it is actually cheaper to have 2 separate policies, one for each car, rather than a personal policy.
  • I've had limited contact with this company but so far Im very impressed. I asked several questions on the live chat, which were all answered quickly and throughly, the staff were really nice, great price. I also sent an email with a request and this was dealt with straight away. I did read the other comments above and to ensure I did not experience the same issues as these other customers I asked the company about these issues before I joined. So far I'm very pleased.

  • Absolutely rubbish! I took out breakdown cover with Eversure in July. However when I broke down shortly afterwards, I rang the number provided which puts you through to an automated service which is meant to send a link to you via Whatsapp. Despite several attempts, the link never arrived. I was left stranded with a young child! On top of that, they charge a £40 excess per call out, which I have not come across before. I am now in the process of trying to get my money back which they are making as difficult as possible. Avoid at all costs!
  • I was about to take out a dual personal policy with these people
Maybe not a good idea reading these reports ?

    Hi Gemma,

Really sorry to hear you had such difficulties during your claim.  I'll make sure this is communicated to our breakdown providers.

With regards to our excess, some of our policies do come with a £30 excess and we try and make that as clear as possible in our quote table before you purchase - we do offer several different types of breakdown policies including those without any excess at all.

I'll be sure to pass on your feedback to our team though and thanks for reaching out.

    Kind regards

  • My experience on signing up with Eversure has been very positive so far. I've also been with Autoaid for many years, as it was the cheapest and best all-round service listed on MSE. As an existing Autoaid customer, I don't qualify for the £6 cashback this year. I have gone to Eversure. I had a question whilst signing up and the customer service I received was excellent - quick and effective communication with a person on the live chat, which was an option after the initial botchat, so this was really pleasing and helpful. This was today, so I (fingers crossed) don't know yet as to the actual service with breakdown, yet the customer service contact experience today is reassuring.
