Morning (just) xx

I was awake at 2am and thought about creeping up on Fayolle to say 'hello' but decided that 👀 in the dark might be scary when unexpected. Awake again at 4 am. Then laid in dozing and praying until 8. 

I'm dressed,  bed is made, birds fed, recycling out, laundry shuffled, 1st load swished and draped on radiators, 2nd load swishing, and all Christmas cards are written woot woot. I've also spoken to S on the phone, phoned Dad, and had text 'conversations' with DS, H from work, and L whose birthday is today.

Card writing was a pleasure with a hot chocolate and Jim Reeves Christmas songs playing.

I am over achieving!  I have watered indoor plants, s&sd bathrooms, machine sewed the hem on a dress, done all shredding, one wash load done and on airer, dailies, washed out all kitchen bins and been carer for DH again.  Also sorted out a bit of Christmas food and snacks in the cupboard.

Thank you, I am quite overwhelmed by your kind offers to satisfy my crumpet craving.  I did actually go to the supermarket that used to have them yesterday as it's next door to a tyre place and OH had a puncture Friday night and guess what they had some, so now feeling very pleased.  Some put in the freezer for Christmas holidays.

A few chores done, a litlle bit more rubbish out of the garage/loft, I make sure I bring something back to go in the bin everytime I go there.  Merry Chrismas light swithched on, it says Merry squigglemas!  Also went to garage with OH to look at potential new car and it has certainly given us food for thought, but dare I say it not at all MSE (we love our cars).  Actually it could be viewed as MSE as we currently have his company car, my town car and a toy car, this plan would mean we get rid of toy and mine and I get a livelier car that is still suitable for town.  Thus meaning we would only run a 1 car not 2.

OK nothing got done yesterday.. I'm afraid the tree didn't get done yesterday so I've carried it forward to today in true flylady fashion 🤣

I'm really not feeling up to doing anything and I'm having a hard time adjusting to having Dave around all the time and not working, even from home upstairs. I want to do the tree with my Christmas spotify list on but he's around and I don't want to, also I don't want to put a Christmas film on to do the tree instead. It's a Wonderful Life is the one I put on too. Somehow the F1 race, that's on, doesn't quite fit that bill 😃 

I need to tidy up as well, the place is getting a bit completely full of gibble 🙁

I've got to find my list from last year for the two weeks before Christmas so I can update/remove from it for this year.

Oh and my dreams are getting really odd when I'm sleeping past my early get up times...I mean weird.lol

Oh well onward and upwards...I think!!

Sorry that's come out a bit big.  First attempt, for a friend whose birthday is today so it's sort of a birthday and Christmas. Thought I'd keep it simple after last year's complicated oasis Xmas tree; poor friend always gets the first experiment!  Will make the base start more obvious with the next one.
Other than that:
- one load washing done
- report checked and emailed
- yesterday's lesson written up and emailed
- 2 Christmas puddings made and on the range bubbling away.
- e birthday cards sent to 2 friends
- milk delivery checked and organised for the next couple of weeks
- Mr N just picked up from Mr T click & collect
- recorder set for Strictly and Valhalla as this eve we are watching a 'live stream' of Mr N's cousin and his group who are doing a concert in Galway Cathedral in aid of children's cancer.
- Christmas day church services in Mum's area surveyed, listed and under discussion.

Aaaah just had a phone call from my sister to say they have to shut their zoo, in Wales, due to sudden restrictions being imposed from Mark Drayford. She is gutted as they have only been open for a short time in total this year and now it is looking quite perilous whether they can recoup when/if they do reopen.

Natty, all sorts of businesses in this area are in trouble, as the tourist season never really got going, some pubs that can open are staying shut until Feb / March as they say serving a 'meal' is too much bother as they are wet pubs, don't normally do food, several tourist attractions never opened at all, I doubt some of them will next year, a local zoo and wildlife park, have a 'giving page' for food for the animals as they are going to be in trouble to afford their food bills, it really does worry me for all businesses.
