Morning all,
DS has been up since 5 complaining of a headache and achey hip 🤷🏼♀️, he's had toast and calpol and is now on fine form, I'm flagging already! TGI Friday! The WM is on, I won't have anymore to do this weekend as a result of being organised this morning. Swimming lessons start again today so that's our after school entertainment. The house could do with a good dust this weekend, especially the living room, having a woodburner does create a lot of mess sometimes but still amazing.
have fab days all xx10 -
Morning all
I’m the only one up so far as DH has a day off - it was to do both school runs so that a) I wasn’t late for work for once and b) so that DD could go in just for her lessons mid morning and home early afternoon. Yet again, nothing to plan - his car is stuck in the garage with no chance of seeing it again until midweek if that. So DD has to go in super early and I am doing the school runs.
Nothing else useful to say, just dailies might stand a chance of being done today. For some reason yesterday I started crying twice with no real reason. Still feeling inexplicably really sad this morning.
Narc0 - pictures of your finished decorations please! They are always so beautiful.
Have a lovely day all x

Morning all,
Bed made, clothes picked up, room aired (and dampened as it's pouring down here)
I washed up whilst waiting for the kettle to boil last night so kitchen looking fine
WM on
Feeling so much better today as prime minister spoke last night and we know the rules from next Tuesday, no more filling in declarations before leaving the house (or in my case having a panic in the car because I've not done it and then doing it at the first set of red lights). We can travel anywhere in the country but there is a curfew from 20.00 - 06.00 except Christmas eve, no problem for us as it's too cold and dark and we are settled in front of the fire with a glass of wine well before then. Still no restaurants, bars, coffee shops, cinemas, theatres or museums open but being able to go where we want is a huge relief for us. Can't wait to go to the sea.
Sticks, spoons & hugs as requred, help yourselves, and don't forget to SMILE!10 -
Morning xx
Just popping in to give Fayolle a hug and send get well soon vibes to BadCat xx
Not much flying done- which is usual on a paid stuff day but exacerbated by a niggling back and tiredness. I gave up trying to stay awake in the chair last night and was in bed before 9.30! And slept til 6.
So birds will be fed and recycling put out and I'll get Weekend Willi prepared to get stuck in tomorrow.
Hugs

Good morning
I have had DD1 on the phone in tears again this morning. Her fiance had a scan on Tuesday, and has had a call this morning to say they want to do an emergency operation 😥 I feel so helpless being 3 hours away 😭 They are tier 3 as well, so a visit is definitely off the cards (although I am sure we will be tier 3 as well soon)
I have vac'd up this morning, although it wasn't very successful - I think I need to clean the filter but won't be able to do this until tomorrow. It will have to do!
DH put on the DW this morning, so I will empty that when the baby let's me. He is playing happily at the moment, so I am scared to move in case he cries! 😂
I hope everyone has a good day. Hugs to Badcat & Fayolle8 -

Lunch cooked, eaten and cleared up
Nearly 2 hours chatting on the phone to friend, to be fair we would normally have met for coffee and spent at least that long chatting
Shopping list done and going to meet OH at supermarket as need quite a bit of bulky stuff and only have a very small boot
Holiday meal ideas being put together so that it actually feels like a holiday, we have 11 days in the other house near the sea and plan to make it a proper holiday, DD1 will be with us for 4 or 5 days and DD2 all the time. They are wanting board games, cards, jigsaw puzzles along with walks on the beach followed by tea and crumpets. Crumpets could be the challenge as very rarely find them here, occasionally in one of the supermarkets, might have to go there and have a look, they also sell a brilliant frozen fish assortment which is the perfect size to make a fish pie which allways goes down very well. Not necessarily wanting to buy and prepare everything in advance as we all enjoying cooking but I want plenty of ideas and to know if any special equipment or ingredients need to be taken from this house.
Off to do the ironing now so we stay on top of the laundry
