    Current Balance (01/06/2021): £117,957 over 14 years. Total overpayment in 2021 of £13,850. Lapsed tracking! Total Owing November 2022: £100,513. February 2023: £97,535. April 2023: £88,739. July 2023: £87,481. August 2023: £85,512. November 2023: £83,053. 

    Original End date: June 2039. Now June 2035. *GOAL* Mortgage Free by 2030.

  • Good evening all,

    #79 reporting £950 OP in April - which has brought down the daily interest to £9.99.

    Also made about 30% of my overall 10% OP allowance (nicer look than saying 3%, but effectively it's the same) - which considering my starting mortgage amount was just under £270,00, I am fairly pleased with how I've chipped away at it.

    Now very much a game of number checking to see how much/what my appetite is to OP before the initial year is up and therefore impacts next years 10% OP.

    Any advice?

  • I would love to join this but am tied into a fixed rate mortgage where I can only op £1000 this year-this ends next year and that’s when the overpayments will be much bigger,should I just wait and join the 2022 thread next year?
