I was #36 this year and I'm happy to keep this or change, whatever works for you is good for me.
Target for next year.... I would like to aim for £8000 OP for 2021, this is on top of my usual payments so should hopefully make a dent in my (still very big) mortgageSmall OPs are better than no OPs
Start date - Feb 2018 £231,000 / Apr 2042
July 2025 £116,950 / Dec 2025
MFW #60…. Back in for 2025!2 -
Hi, I’ve decided to take the plunge and become a MFW. We have a mortgage which had a balance of over £133000 this morning before I used a chunk of our savings to pay off the maximum allowed 10% for this calendar year. So I will go into 2021 with a mortgage of £119,000 and a target of £6000. This may not work out as my husband’s hours at work have been halved but he’s looking for something else to fit in and around the kids. And I love a challenge!MFW start date 30/12/20 with mortgage of £133,492, final payment due October 2038Current mortgage outstanding £116,597.49, final payment due October 2036Target final payment date: December 20303
